I would be surprised if they did. When investigating whether the NZ semi would be live on Prime, it was stated that the Eden Park semi would only be shown live if NZ was playing.

I'm no great fan of Sky ... but credit where due. I expected the semi final on prime to be chokka full on ads, yet they kept these to a minimum with limited interruption to live play. Well done & thanks.

I think it's great it's going to be on FTA but it does beg a question. When will Prime go HD? For some reason Sky is purchasing quite a few first run shows from the US that they are showing on Prime. I watch a few and then get tired of the SD quality and find my fix another way :-)

Are there still bandwidth issues for another HD channel?

Not the sport I was thinking about - that's a one off and a nice gesture. I just mean the bulk of their programming. Going HD would hardly be giving out cash unless there is a significant cost for purchasing HD versions of shows.
