It looks like no nz aus cricket on prime tomorrow?

It totally sucks that Sky requires me to join for 12 months just to get access to the occasional game of world cup cricket. Why can't they at least offer me the chance to pay view individual games?!

Neon's overpriced substandard offering is the latest example of a company that neither cares or understands customer service. If only kiwis would vote with their feet and consign sky's antiquated rip off structure to pasture!

I thought all NZ team games were live on Prime but knowing Sky the NZ Vs AU will be a big draw card so will block it from FTA ..

Because they're able to gouge the public for more, of course. I've never heard of it being as bad as this in a host country for any kind of world cup.

I'm sure Sky rewards NZ Cricket handsomely, but money's not much good when you're letting your sport's fanbase shrink.

The media here are just looking the other way. In Australia they're getting 10 games guaranteed free-to-air (including NZ-Aus), which is still seen as way too few:

Yes there is dozens of online sources to watch it. The point still is PRIME is keeping a major amount of the cricket world cup off screen to benefit SKY.

Never in a million years would they be allowed to get away with it if it was the Rugby

We have Sky Sports 1 & 2 at work... was very excited at being able to have them on in background to watch the Cricket while working. Wasn't until closer to the time that I learned they were only on 3 & 4... yeah big disappointment. Will be enjoying the Aus vs NZ game this afternoon via CricInfo.

I use ESPN HD which is $99 USD for all matches. Paid it using BNZ Visa and the quality is superb + no Ads!

Edit: Just wanted to add that I'm on UFB 100/50.

I'm watching it on a Roku 3. You can watch it on a PC through your web browser as well.

+1 for using this service. using on a roku streaming stick. quality is almost as good as watching it on myskyHD. It would be nice if espn brought the rights to more cricket and continued this service

It works well on a PC, but less well on tablets (incl. iPad) as it's always buffering (probably due to wi-fi) and the fact that its a HD stream and it doesn't vary (quality-wise) to compensate for slower connections. There are iOS / Android specific streams (i.e. non-Flash), however.

It buffers very rarely on my HTPC or laptop (both wired ethernet), which is fine as that's where I watch it.

There are usually multiple (3 or 4) servers located in different countries for each game, and when two games are on simultaneously both are available. If there are buffering issues, you can try another server.

Edit: you don't need a VPN / Proxy or DNS spoofing service (e.g. unblock-us). It just works.

I got a email from EPSN today saying they have just added the IPL to the line up. us$69 for current world cup subscribers.hopefully the get Big bash later on

each match is around an 8 hr affair. there are like 20+ matches .. ?! i need to go to work! otherwise i would have bought one of these ...
