I agree with that lineup. I'd like to see Munro bat down the order, he will be more lethal a few places down.

I agree. they are trying to replicate that quick start we used to get with Mccullum and Guptil. Only issue we dont want to strangle Guptil and the run rate or he will get too much pressure. Thats why Im a bit wary of putting Latham in 2, but he does avg 33 and SR of 83 which is quite acceptable. So I think they should try it. And put Munro in at 5, the Nichols, then Nesham so you get that big hitter vs technical player, alternating through the lineup.

That wasnt the best ball from Neesham but if he gets another Colin could well and truely be done for if they play Neesham in the Ind tour.

Bracewell is a bad pick imo, hes done and dusted, has never produced and isnt going to all of a sudden.

I never knew Fergusson has a big in swinger, because hes always bowling with an old ball.

Doull talking about, for me in any fast swinging pitch Id be handing him the ball first up 145-150kph in swingers are notorious for taking out the wickets either via a yorker or going through the gate. I guess he will get his turn but I hope its not when his pace drops due to age. Southee can take wickets without swing, so I dont see the risk giving Lockie 3 overs to start, considering each end has a new ball. And boy does it swing in England.

Flat track and all that but the Caps' bowling is a bit sh*t to be honest.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

Yeah all they need is line and length and let SL make the mistakes. I thought Lockie had 2 good overs of that.

Still scoreboard pressure, 8+ RPO with 20 overs left will quickly turn to 10 in 5 overs if you score like 5RPO etc. It compounds real fast around this point. I think they will end up needing the same we scored in the final 10, about 126, we only need 1 more wicket (especially Perera at the moment) and its a done deal, Chandimal is a collector.

Agreed.  Big total on the board and I have no doubt NZ will win.  (I've put money on it smile)

FANTASTIC by Williamson and Sodhi, how obvious was the plan, but he went for it. Wrist spinners go for runs but they take wickets thats for sure, well Warne and world record holder are evidence of that. Batsmen underestimate their ability to turn it both ways and the googlie. Paid for the wicket but was worth the price.

Brilliant over Lockie, change of pace, strangled them and then the wicket. Game over, well it was at 3/4 stage of our innings.

Fantastic economy and 2 VERY big wickets from Sodhi and he wasnt even near his best tonight. This team looks good to me, with a keeper change.

Well they wanted to test out Nesham Seifert Munro Henry, Id say Nesham is definitely worth playing this series and possibly Ind just to be sure this isnt a 1/10 game.

Yeah Im enjoying it, much better than that other aussie, Styris :-)

They are bang on about Seifert, hes had a good debut with the gloves, ok he didnt hit the sort of runs hes known for, but maybe now he feels some confidence that will come.

They say Seifert is the only keeper, so no Latham. Commentators annoy me. They say, correctly, that his keeping isnt good. It was poor a week ago in another game. Now, he gets one very good catch and he has had a good night??

I thought he was a quick? Best was 148, most slower, Neesham not far off him

Rubbish with a capital R

Here is why. He was out of his depth batting. They say he's good, he no doubt is, but at this level, and not against a team on a low.

His keeping is no good. The commentators banged on about that, and he was no good last week. He took some easy catches. Then he took a very good catch so now he had a good debut? He dropped and fumbled. 4/10 at best with the gloves, at best.
