Yike Red Bull look significantly different to the rest of the field and seem reliable and quick.
Could be lights out and there's the 2024 championship sealed again repeat.

Certainly haven't sat on their laurels as they say. Those fat pipes at the top behind the driver look nuts.

A few rumours that Newey will head to Ferrari next year...

AS for the 2024 championship, looks like the bookies have already decided it

Wonder if there are odds on Perez loosing his seat to Riccardo and by when.

I reckon race 10 he loses his seat and Riccardo is racing at Silverstone. Then we also see Lawson getting his RB seat.

I can very much see that, he leaks points like a sieve. Had a chance to lose 2nd pace in the Drivers in a car that won every race

Mercedes is easier to drive apparently, Ferrari have sorted out their tyre degradation issues, so you would expect those two teams and McLaren will be closer, so... possible that Perez will be fighting the 6 cars behind Max, and they will outdrive him. Has to be goneburger. I'd bet RBR are already thinking that and will jump in before too many points are leaked.

Saw some chat the other day that it really depends if there is a clear leader at VCARB or not.
If say Daniel can dominate Yuki Tsunoda then he might get the nod, and that would likely bring in Liam too. Bluntly they want winners, but let’s get real nothing that disrupts Max.

We will know the state of things soon after qualifying, but I’m now hanging out for a good McLaren showing and the next significant regulation changes, to avoid another yawn fest RedBul/lmax domination season.

We could have another 8 years of Mercedes? Or however long Ferrari/Schummy ran away most races? Both yawnfests. If regs remained unchanged for many years, they will all close up. If regs change there is bound to be a team that skillfully or luckily, nailed it

BUT he is asked about his move to Ferrari, and he's grinding on about the iconic team Ferrari. Sorry, but that is total BS. Mercedes cannot win a race let alone a Title, so he went to a team that can. Fair play, but play the honest card. People love skill and honesty

I disagree about your Lewis statement. He has always said he wanted to drive to Ferarri ever since he was young and with Wolff revealing that they only had him on one year contracts to ensure they could keep kimi Antonelli the choice to move on was clear... Yes Mercedes have produced a dog of a car but I think he would have moved on to Ferarri even if the car was amazing if he had won the 8th already.

Mate you're kinda forgetting he's not moving right now, so still has a year to race with this team. It's not a smart move to throw them under the bus when you have to work with them for a whole season.

Are Redbull sandbagging or does Mercedes have real pace after watching P1 and P2.

Pretty sure redbull have the engine wound down and wont show their real pace till Q3, Lewis look genuinely surprised when they interviewed him after P2.
