mentalinc: So is it worth moving from D2 back to D1?....

I'd say no, as, the picture has gone form D1 here...
Perhaps I should have moved the dish...

I'm watching it in 16x9 off the world feed, they do sometimes compress the image into a 4x3 frame so if you have pillar boxing turned off, turn it off

Weird dvbviewer is showing it as a 4:3 feed. Have forced it to 16:9 and doesn'y look like fatovision which is great.

Will be interesting how far into the day we get before they get out of sync.

All its gonna take now for Ford to win are the 3 Holdens in front to run out of fuel, which shouldn't happen :)

What a beaut result, both Team Vodafone cars side by side over the line and Holden in the top 4

Well holy hell.

TV3 listened!

Appart from barrage of Adverts I imagine you all sat through, and the news break (didn't they goto C4?) they were live the entire time

Of course it meant you missed a couple of twitchy moments. We could hear them go/return from ad breaks by the different commentator and noises.

All in all, D2 signal.. awesome. No breaks whatsoever. BUT, I did have to tweak my LNB. 80% on most channels where it was at its standard D1 location, but only 20% on the TP we needed. Twist or 2 later, 70%

Ok Motor Racing Fans/Geeks its that time of the year again, the holy grail of motor racing the SuperCheap Auto Bathurst 1000!

Been keeping an eye out of sat feeds and so far most luck has been on Optus D1. Looks like TV3 is going to carry the race live with no ad breaks, was worried for a while we would have to wait till after midnight to see it

Hope to personally head over to the race next year too
