Did it take three years? The article says they knew in April but didn't release that information to the public. But it doesn't say how long they knew. Could have been months. Or years.

I have to say that I loved the quote last week from one of the people involved in the search in the Indian Ocean west of Australia, where no wreckage has been found: "Well if it's not there, it must be somewhere else". Brilliant! Why hasn't anyone else thought of that?! It's there, or somewhere else, Mystery solved!

Didn't they previously say that they didn't find anything suspicious on pilots  flight simulator, when i first went missing. I doubt it would take 3 years for the FBI to find that info. I hope the families were told about this when they found out.  I wonder if the reason it wasn't disclosed publicly before, is due to money, eg insurance etc.

It is also amazing they could spend nearly 200 million searching, while sitting on this info. So finding the wreckage probably wouldn't answer too many questions. Think how many lives could have been saved with that money on operations and drugs. Yes it is terrible for the families, but even spending all that money and finding the plane isn't going to necessarily going to bring back any bodies. It would likely only indicate liability. But due to the wreakage found, it is likely they will only every find parts anyway and it maybe too deep to bring up to the surface.

Knowing Malaysia, it's a big cover up, probably to protect them from being sued big time.

I was actually thinking this felt very conspiracy like in presentation, but if the pilot killed them all, Malaysian is 100% accountable.
