Trump: professor of creepy class 101

Trump says "whether the women like it or not, I'm going to protect them" at Wisconsin rally: CBS News

Former President Donald Trump said Wednesday at a campaign rally that "whether the women like it or not," he will "protect" them, noting that his advisers had instructed him not to use the line, which he said they deemed "inappropriate."

Speaking near Green Bay, Wisconsin, Trump tried to hammer the Biden-Harris administration on immigration, saying they had "imported criminal migrants" to enter the country and to "assault, rape and murder our women and girls." He then added that "anyone who would let monsters kidnap and kill our children does not belong anywhere near the Oval Office."
...
Trump went on to ask the crowd, to applause, "is there any woman in this giant stadium who would like not to be protected? Is there any woman in this stadium that wants to be protected by the president?"

I'm sure there are plenty who'd like to be protected from the ex-president.

I don't think it's going to make a huge amount of difference to the final outcome.

Yep I agree. all I thought was no wonder there are so many Red outlier polls flooding the averages. Not sure if this is for Optics?

Early polls look on track georgia flipped a bit from requested to what was submitted.

But honestly stumbling with cognitive issues to get into the garbage truck is not good optics. anybody with the internets knows Biden was refering to Dons comedians talking Garbage with the race hate and division.

'Unstoppable': NY Times slams polls for creating false picture to push pro-Trump agenda - Raw Story

this is what I meant but Right wing Optics created by Pollsters. Is their any nefarious behind it, ie if they lose to say the polls were not saying that etc?

Pennsylvania could actually have quite a big part in deciding the election result in the end.

YIKES! Trump GETS VIOLENT at LATE NIGHT Arizona Speech
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5IVjc-p4jt4

Trump in latest interview with Tucker directly threatens Liz Cheney with a firing squad.

Lets put her with 9 rifles,
See what she is like with the guns pointed at her face.

https://www.thedailybeast.com/trump-fantasizes-about-liz-cheney-facing-the-firing-squad/

Deplorable and Rubbish would seem to be modest comments given behavior of Trump and Trumplicans.
It was exceptional last time, then Jan6th so it continues.

Any good people caught up in misguided idea of fictional Trump that TV created could see the appalling behavior around them and knew who comments were aimed at.

Then the continuing insults that Trump throws at others all the time, finding it hard to get ever more extreme.

Came across this series on CNN today. It's a really interesting look at all the events in the leadup to the election starting with Biden dropping out, right up to Harris's ascent to Democratic nominee.

It's running every day this week. Here's the first three days:

https://edition.cnn.com/2024/10/28/politics/american-battleground-biden-trump-debate/index.html

https://edition.cnn.com/2024/10/29/politics/christianity-wrestling-trump-analysis/index.html

https://edition.cnn.com/2024/10/30/politics/american-battleground-kamala-harris-brat-summer/index.html

I'll post the links to the last two when they're on the CNN site. Hope you find it as interesting as I did 🙂

Last two parts here:

Fairly sizeable batch of election cartoons this week, mind you, the main event is only a few days away:

This one does a reasonably accurate job of summing up a lot of the negative, hateful stuff the orange buffoon (and some of his cronies) has ever said:

The "comedian" and his comments at the rally:

Newspapers suddenly deciding not to endorse anybody, right before an election:

and finally, the rubbish truck incident (what the hell was the point of that, anyway??):

Thanks god they're were enough honest politicians and judges to stop Trump last time. (Special thanks to Pence). As president, Trump misused his office, and as they say in poker "overplayed his cards" In the process, Trump burned many co-conspirators, and worst of all cast light onto his party's self-admitted dirty tricksters.

He's now lost the edge because Trump is not president this time around. In this rodeo, he's no longer a member of the rodeo committee, event organizers, or even a member of the ground crew. He's the disgraced 78 year old cowboy, looking to relive his glory days. Trump's former gang of bandits have mostly disbanded, or are serving time in prison.

Typical of Trump, he can't STFU and already advertised his crimes. All federal judges and law enforcement now also know Trump's past crimes, and modus operandi. However the US supreme court is obviously biased in favor of Trump and conservatives. I wouldn't hold my breath on Clarence Thomas to mend his wicked ways.

Trump most powerful pawns are the US Supreme Court and Speaker of the United States House of Representatives Mike Johnson. Currently it appears Mike's plans mostly hinge on winning.

If Mike Johnson forces a deadlock, no candidate receiving the required 270 electoral votes, the decision goes to the Republican House of Representatives, where each state delegation gets one vote to choose the president. The Republicans majority is 4.

But the Supreme Court is also wild card, and overrule everyone.

So except wild times through 6 January 2025.

Mike Johnson, who shares ‘secret’ with Trump, fights to keep the House: Washington Post

Speaker Mike Johnson (Republican-Louisiana) was plucked from obscurity to corral a historically unpredictable, at times chaotic, House Republican majority and has defied expectations by surviving more than a year in the post.
...
If Vice President Kamala Harris wins and Democrats take the House, that agenda will be on the line — and so will Johnson’s job.

And then there’s the question of whether the speaker, an election denier, will accept the results. Trump recently claimed the two shared “a little secret” that could have a “big impact” — alternately interpreted as an innocuous remark about the ground game, or evidence of an antidemocratic plot. Johnson said it was the former.
...
One such unexpected moment emerged at a campaign event in New York City last weekend, when Trump praised Johnson and suggested the two of them have a “little secret” that will have “a big impact” in House races.
...
The comment renewed concern that Johnson would not certify the 2024 election results
...
Johnson has been able to form a close relationship with Trump and has managed to stay in his good graces even though the MAGA wing of the House GOP conference often voted against Johnson’s wishes
...
With less than a week until Election Day, roughly two dozen districts remain competitive. To hold the majority, Republicans must defend all the seats they currently hold and prevent Democrats from flipping four.

What if Trump wins? What if, after all the court challenges, recounts, protests, legal shenanigans, he emerges with a tiny but undisputable majority? What if the Republicans win the House? What if they win the Senate? What do we do then?

We can't do anything, really. I've already influenced all the Americans I know to not vote for the orange buffoon, but past that there's little we can do.

I did see this however, where it sounds like his clowns are overstating their confidence: https://www.thebulwark.com/p/dont-buy-the-trump-camps-spin

Trump and many of his surrogates have said repeatedly that a Harris win is possible only if Democrats cheat. Trump is posting a sea of crap on Truth Social claiming completely made up nonsense about voting issues in Pennsylvania and elsewhere. This is all part of a coordinated, concerted operation. MAGA forces are flooding the zone with partisan polls; they are gaming the prediction markets. The memo, from Trump pollster Tony Fabrizio, is just another element of their preemptive plan to set up the Big Lie 2.0. Everyone in politics should be aware of what’s really taking place here.

While the polling tells us little, there are other factors that may give Harris the edge.

So while I'm fearful of 2016 all over again (remember, almost every poll in the world said Hillary would win), I'm keeping an open mind.

2016 or 2021?

Liz Cheneys comments in the NZH seems like she has taken what was said pretty dang seriously.

I must admit, I am struggling to see the "death threat" in his comments about Cheney. I'm not trying to defend him at all, but to leap from "she's a war monger" to "kill her" does seem to be bit of a stretch.

Traditionally, when one faces a firing squad, one is not armed. He did say she would have a rifle. I read it as "she likes war so much, how would she feel if she was the one facing the enemy herself".

He's absolutely not fit to be president, in any way shape or form, but I feel like if you were to line up all the inflammatory and/or criminal things he has said, this one would be well down the list.

Have I missed something?

These "undecided" groups breaking toward Kamala after the MSG comments and now the Liz Cheney ones would seem logical.

One thing looking at early voters is that there are a lot more undecided's than I expected.

Harris campaign says undecided voters are breaking their way — but warns Trump will falsely claim victory | The Independent

This is an interesting breakdown of SM numbers and Don's supposed loss of Swing State undecideds from MSG Rally.
