Certainly. Which part of the answer "no" did you not understand?

Realistically Scholz is not going to initiate anything of the kind without a strategic roundtable with USA and UK. Having said that, at times Germany has provided without advertising.

I liked these two videos; first one is shorter, and mocks the Russian press coverage.

Not sure if this story is true, as the only source is Ukrainian news. It would be funny if it was.

Apparently during the initial invasion of Kharkiv, four Russian tanks entered the village.

Two crews got out and climbed on top of the other pair of tanks which then drove off presumably to another village, perhaps to save fuel. They left two empty unguarded tanks behind.

After they left, the villagers stuck Ukrainian flags on top of the empty tanks.

When the departed tanks returned, they spotted what they now though were Ukrainian tanks in the village, and destroyed them.

Upon inspection, they realized the tanks hadn't moved and were unmanned. The tanks drove off in a different direction over a bridge which promptly collapsed, dumping the final two tanks into the river below.

Again show knows if it's true, but it makes a good story.

Going back to Putin's first war Chechnya take 2, and Grozny.

Apparently, some of the republics next to Russia that have been getting Russians fleeing the 'Russian World'
are getting a bit worried they now have many more Russian speakers.

I know this is not unbiased reporting, and is funded by the US government, but there is a video to back it up.

Not mentioned in the video, but from my understanding, the prisoners may not loot / rape, can be executed if they retreat/disobey no matter how suicidal, and survive for 6 months. After which their record is wiped clean, and they are released from duty.

He was clear they would be given the worst tasks in the Russian forces.

Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty: Video Of Man Allegedly Recruiting Russian Inmates To Fight In Ukraine

...a video emerged appearing to show Kremlin-connected businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin recruiting mercenaries to fight in Ukraine at a Russian prison. Prisoner-rights groups in Russia believe some 10,000 convicts have already been shipped out to fight in Ukraine.

Although Prigozhin has not acknowledged that he is the one who appeared in the video, on September 16 he issued a statement defending the practice of recruiting convicts.

“Those who don’t want to see prisoners fighting for private military firms, who condemn this, who don’t want to do anything themselves, and who in general don’t like this topic should send their children to the front,” Prigozhin was quoted as saying. “Either private military companies and convicts or your children -- decide for yourselves.”

And what's the answer? Where is the navy?

Hiding behind Crimea in Russia proper.

It was a very strange night last night with a lot of speculation online about martial law being enacted and not allowing military aged men to leave Russia.  There was meant to be an address by Putin, but it got postponed and then pushed out until tomorrow.  This could blow up spectacularly in Putins face if he did such a thing.  The appetite from the vast majority of Russians is not there to go die in Ukraine for stolen land.

Sham referendums?????  Putin has one vote, he wins!!!  Yeah I agree. I hope the West continues its retribution. Its a farce, and if the West delays 3 nanoseconds its a fail.

It does show Putin is desperate. He has admitted to his best and only mate that its not gone well. #backedintoacorner

Sometimes you just get a feeling for something, like sensing the approach of rain. I have always been fascinated by the 1920s in Europe, and what it must have felt like as the small hints of times to come pushed through the party atmosphere. I feel like random fragments are coming together as they did then, like a gathering storm. There is a smell of war in the air, not localised regional conflict, but serious, all-out combat. The world is heading for war. Today I became convinced of that. I don't know if it will go nuclear, but it will pull in the world, as it has done twice before. War is coming. You can see the vortex spinning. You can see people leaning in to it. It is just like it was then.
