Background:

President Trump and his son Donald Trump Jr were among social media users who shared video late on Monday of a group called "America's Frontline Doctors" advocating hydroxychloroquine as a Covid-19 treatment.

This group includes Dr Stella Immanuel - a self-proclaimed Covid "expert".

The Washington Post - Americans are suffering. Trump offers them a doctor who warns of sex with demons.

today

Dr Stella Immanuel [is] a Houston pediatrician and spiritual leader of Fire Power Ministries, a pronouncedly non-orthodox church.

Endometriosis and other potentially dangerous gynecological conditions are the residue of sexual intercourse with demons, Immanuel teaches. ...

The demons are responsible not only for diseases of the female reproductive system but also for male impotence, most financial troubles, marital discord and spiritual malaise.

This is not Immanuel’s only diversion from the medical mainstream.

She also maintains that alien DNA is a component of some therapeutic drugs and that government scientists are developing a vaccine to prevent religious faith.

You can find these and other teachings of hers on YouTube.

Or you can find Immanuel on President Trump’s Twitter feed, where she testifies to the power of hydroxychloroquine to cure covid-19, and assures the public that masks are not important to fighting the pandemic.

More than 10 million Americans heard her advice, thanks in part to the president’s amplifying effect, before Facebook took down her page.

In response, Immanuel threatened to have Jesus unplug Facebook’s servers. ...

The lunatic is running the asylum ...

New York Times: Help Me Find Trump’s ‘Anarchists’ in Portland

The president has his politically driven narrative. And then there’s reality.

PORTLAND, Ore. — I’ve been on the front lines of the protests here, searching for the “radical-left anarchists” who President Trump says are on Portland streets each evening.

I thought I’d found one: a man who for weeks leapt into the fray and has been shot four times with impact munitions yet keeps coming back. I figured he must be a crazed anarchist.

But no, he turned out to be Dr. Bryan Wolf, a radiologist who wears his white doctor’s jacket and carries a sign with a red cross and the words “humanitarian aid.” He pleads with federal forces not to shoot or gas protesters.

“Put your gun barrels down!” he cries out. “Why are you loading your grenade launchers? We’re just standing ——”

And then they shoot.

Dr. Wolf, an assistant professor at Oregon Health Sciences University, helps at a medic stand operated by volunteers from the medical school. Could they be radical-left anarchists? No, they’ve imposed order on the anarchy of the street by establishing qualifications for field medics and a hierarchy among them, so that any badly injured protester will immediately get the right kind of care.

Accomplishing all this while tear gas is swirling and impact munitions are whizzing by, without even asking for insurance cards — that seems the opposite of what fanatical anarchists might do.

Maybe the rioting anarchists were in front of the crowd, where there are discussions about Black Lives Matter? I found musicians and activists and technicians, who were projecting a huge sign on the wall of a nearby building — “Fed Goons Out of PDX” — that seemed a bit geeky for anarchists.

Oh, wait, there was a man using angry language about the federal “occupation” and calling it “abhorrent.” Lots of protesters don’t seem to like him, so could he be a crazed anarchist rioter?

Oops, no, that’s just Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler, sputtering after being tear-gassed by the feds.

Then I heard someone calling for the overthrow of Portland’s “leadership,” and I’d figured I’d finally found an anarchist. But it turned out to be Maria Bartiromo of Fox News, asking Chad Wolf, the acting head of homeland security, “Why can’t you just arrest the leadership in Portland because of their ignoring what’s really happening on the ground?”

She may be a crazed anarchist trying to topple legitimate authority, but I doubt she’s the kind Trump meant.
...
It also must be said that while there’s violence from both sides, what I’ve seen firsthand is that the most violent behavior overwhelmingly comes from the federal agents, and indeed the most serious injuries have been suffered by protesters. Your federal tax dollars paid to shoot a man in the face with a “less lethal” munition — an unprovoked assault that left him with a fractured skull and possible brain damage.

If you want to call one side “rioters” or “anarchists” working to create tumult in Portland, it’s the uninvited feds who qualify.

I think it's more like "there's Trump's narrative, and then there's reality". When the various kids in the neighbourhood were in primary school, we used to carry out imaginary combat with imaginary armies, and imaginary subordinates (there were only about a half-dozen to a dozen of us, so we needed imaginary subordinates) would rush up, address us as "Sir", and bring us news.

Which is exactly what keeps happening in Trump's rambling stories, imaginary messengers come up to him, address him as "Sir", and tell him whatever needs to be said to keep the narrative going.

The difference was that we were seven years old at the time, and we knew that it was all just pretend.

Trump is a horrible, narcissistic psychopath but until now that hasn't meant that he could not distinguish reality from fantasy. Now, however, he is displaying clear indications of someone no longer capable of comprehending what is actual, like Hitler playing with his imaginary armies in his bunker. Trump is desperately searching for a magic bullet that will somehow solve all his problems and put him on top again. Like Hitler and his super-weapons, he thinks he can still win, if only he can find the right alchemical knock-out formula. So now he is turning to conspiracy theory nutcases like that alien DNA doctor who dismisses vaccinations and masks but has miracle cures of her own she is only too happy to sell you for a special low price as long as you don't have sex with any demons!

This kind of crazy stuff is being taken increasingly seriously by no one less than the President of the United States of America! It may be funny, but it is no joke. In fact, it is terrifying.

America is waiting until the Constitutional date in November to rid itself of this terrible disaster of a fuehrer, but I don't think it has that long. Trump is going off the rails and he can do anything at any time. For the country's sake, he needs to be removed now! Also for the country's sake, that needs to be done legally and properly, preferably with the cabinet and Congress in unison, but people have got to act without delay. Trump is clearly not competent to perform his office, and he is certainly not safe to control the military.

New York Times: Trump Announced, Then Canceled, a Yankees Pitch. Both Came as a Surprise.

The president’s announcement that he would pitch at Yankee Stadium on Aug. 15 startled the team’s officials, who had not scheduled such an event.

An hour before Dr. Anthony S. Fauci threw the first pitch at the season opener between the New York Yankees and the Washington Nationals, President Trump stood on the briefing room stage at the White House and declared that he, too, had been invited to throw out his own opening pitch.

“Randy Levine is a great friend of mine from the Yankees,” Mr. Trump, referring to the president of the baseball team, told reporters on Thursday as Dr. Fauci was preparing to take the mound. “And he asked me to throw out the first pitch, and I think I’m doing that on Aug. 15 at Yankee Stadium.”

There was one problem: Mr. Trump had not actually been invited on that day by the Yankees, according to one person with knowledge of Mr. Trump’s schedule. His announcement surprised both Yankees officials and the White House staff.

But Mr. Trump had been so annoyed by Dr. Fauci’s turn in the limelight, an official familiar with his reaction said, that he had directed his aides to call Yankees officials and make good on a longtime standing offer from Mr. Levine to throw out an opening pitch. No date was ever finalized.

After the president’s announcement, White House aides scrambled to let the team know that he was actually booked on Aug. 15, although they have not said what he plans to do. Over the weekend, Mr. Trump officially canceled.

“Because of my strong focus on the China Virus, including scheduled meetings on Vaccines, our economy and much else, I won’t be able to be in New York to throw out the opening pitch for the @Yankees on August 15,” Mr. Trump wrote on Twitter on Sunday, using a racist name for the coronavirus. “We will make it later in the season!”

And so continues the tense relationship between Mr. Trump, a president who hates sharing media attention, and Dr. Fauci, a renowned infectious disease expert who doesn’t mind the spotlight.

What I was wondering about that so-called "doctor" (and the others with her) is if they have this miracle cure for coronavirus, why aren't the medicine companies bashing her door down to buy the rights to her concoction?

No no, instead she posts some video online about her "cure" that - of course - Captain No-F*****g-Idea immediately picks up on and tweets to the world, hoping to resuscitate his rapidly declining campaign.

Roll on November 3! Joe Biden, America is waiting for you.

And don't get me started on Scott Adams. That guy has basically turned into a 100% Trump fanboy. I hope his income just keeps on declining.

Remember when the Loser In Chief disrespected John McCain after he died in 2018? (Unlike Trumpy, McCain fought for his country.)

John McCain's mother Roberta is still alive and is now 108 years old. She's actually outlived two of her three children!

I hope she's still alive for the "election" in November and gets to cast a vote against Trumpet.

And now Trump wants to delay the 2020 elections, with "mail vote fraud" lies as the reason.

They are trying to steal the election at any cost.
