Better not to feed the troll. He has been given every opportunity to express and defend his ideas here. People have made an effort to interact with him seriously. Now he is just spouting repetitive static. Better to ignore and move on.

I think this is a great example of the division someone like a Trump causes.  Proven strategy of divide-and-conquer.  Hate the other person, and not know why, instead of the system

I guess most don't vote in the US elections here anyway

By choosing to not understand why a bizarre non-Washington insider, reality TV star, like Trump could get voted in, what policies caused idiots and racists to vote for him, means a better/faster/corrupt/slicker/more-organized version of Trump will be elected in the future.

Tell me someone is not trying to steal the election...

there's more than just disenfranchisement in the USPS story

you have it lucky in NZ with how simple it is.  Each state does their own mail-in and absentee voting separately here, and even in Dem controlled places like NYC 20% of ballots are rejected, and they were still counting the results 6 weeks later.  The US has this horrible presidential transition time between election in November and inauguration January.

A lot of people I know already put a 55c stamp on their ballot so it goes first-class USPS.  Its a mess.

Regarding Trump's younger brother dying

I doubt the thought "wow my brother died, and he's younger than me. Makes you wonder about mortality." never occurred to Trump.

I'd bet his first thought would be "Well, I was always stronger than him," followed by "man, this is inconvenient. My brother was always an inconsiderate jerk, trying to hog the limelight."

Secondly, is it possible for a pathological narcissist to have a best friend, besides his own reflection I mean?

Unhelpful speculation. As much as I dislike Trump, he has my condolences. Anyone can feel grief.

Well, this is the guy who held his nephew for ransom so he could get more money, so I'm not betting grief is high on Donald Trump's agenda.

Then came the unveiling of Fred Sr.’s will, which Donald had helped draft.

It divided the bulk of the inheritance, at least $20 million, among his children and their descendants, “other than my son Fred C. Trump Jr.” Freddy’s children sued, claiming that an earlier version of the will had entitled them to their father’s share of the estate, but that Donald and his siblings had used “undue influence” over their grandfather, who had dementia, to cut them out.

A week later, Mr. Trump retaliated by withdrawing the medical benefits critical to his nephew’s infant child.

“I was angry because they sued,” he explained during last week’s interview.

Yeah, okay. I was trying to be generous to someone I can't stand. He probably doesn't have any human feelings. I just thought it was the right thing to do to assume he did.

Batman: As it is not revealed my guess is covid, and it's kept secret to prevent him losing the election.

The niece Mary Trump has stated he has been in and out of hospital for a few months after a nasty fall. Word is he was on blood thinners (not unusual for a man his age) which worsened the effects of the injury with successive brain-bleeds. A sad day and time for the family. It is only really big news because his brother is president. Otherwise it would be a minor note in the lifestyle or business sections of the paper.

The Washington Post - Trump is actively working to undermine the Postal Service  and every major U.S. institution

Opinion by William H. McRaven

August 17, 2020

William H. McRaven, a retired Navy admiral, was commander of the U.S. Special Operations Command from 2011 to 2014.

In the 1997 film “The Postman,” set in post-apocalyptic America, Kevin Costner plays a drifter trying to restore order to the United States by providing one essential service, mail delivery.

In the story, hate crimes, racially motivated attacks and a plague have caused the breakdown of society as we know it.

In his quest to restore order and dignity to the nation, the Postman tries to recruit other postal workers to help rebuild the U.S. government.

But Costner’s character is opposed by the evil General Bethlehem, who is fighting to suppress the postal carriers so he can establish a totalitarian government.

Fortunately, our hero, gaining inspiration from the motto, “neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night,” fights on against Bethlehem and saves the country.

Not surprisingly, the movie was panned by critics and was a financial disaster.

I mean really, racial strife and a plague so bad that it threatened our society?

And even if that happened, who would try to destroy the Postal Service?

Where do they come up with these crazy plots?

In retrospect, maybe we should give the movie another look. ...

Thank you for the information. That is very helpful. My apologies and condolences to the Trumps.

Makes you realise that Mike Pence is only a heartbeat away from being President. And possibly the same for Kamala Harris after January (not sure what happens if the President-elect is ‘incapacitated’ prior to being sworn in).

Trump University material uploaded.

Reminder: Trump University was not a real university. Trump had to pay because they were scamming people with this crap.

I was careful in my use of ‘incapacitated’. Section 3(?) of the 20th amendment only refers to death. I have a sneaking suspicion the HoR would have a say.
