freitasm:

Isn't that funny that the DoJ keeps arresting people on the Trump side but there's nothing going on against the people on the side he keeps accusing of being the most corrupt presidency in American history?

Quick recap - these are just the ones from Trump's "inner circle":

Roger Stone - Obstruction of an official proceeding, making false statements and witness tampering - Arrested and found guilty
Rick Gates - Financial fraud and lying to the F.B.I. - Arrested and found guilty
Paul Manafort - Tax evasion, bank fraud, failure to disclose a foreign bank account and witness tampering - Arrested and found guilty
Michael D. Cohen - Lying to Congress - Arrested and plead guilty
George Papadopoulos - Lying to the F.B.I. about conversations with people he believed were working on behalf of Russians - Arrested and plead guilty
Michael T. Flynn - Lying to the F.B.I. - Arrested and plead guilty
Steve Bannon - Fraud, money laundering - Arrested and charged.

Bannon arrested? Good job. Breitbart will be beside themselves over this...

So Stormy Daniels said the truth... Back in 2011 she mentioned Trump's hate for sharks and mentioned an anecdote he told her one night. And yesterday he told the same story at a rally: https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2020/08/20/trump-just-validated-key-stormy-daniels-affair-allegation-by-complaining-about-sharks/?

They'll just treat it as a great opportunity to create yet another bunch of conspiracy theories:

Bannon was arrested on a $35 million dollar yacht that had been owned by an exiled Chinese billionnaire who fled after being accused of corruption, rape, etc - and now claims that he lives in the UAE, is a member of Mar-a-Lago, and has a $100 million apartment overlooking central park.

This makes me wonder if the Steele Dossier's 'golden shower' incident may also be credible after all. For some reason, golden showers just keep popping up around Trump. Even the Senate investigation touched on it, never mind what Michael Cohen has to say on the matter.

Judge rules against Trump in tax records subpoena fight

(CNN) A federal judge on Thursday said New York state prosecutors could have access to President Donald Trump's accounting records for a criminal investigation, siding harshly against the President.

And he loses again regarding his tax records. Now what we need is Deutsche Bank America to release all their records.

I presume there is a mechanism for examining White House spending when he looses (I hope) this November - fraud, misappropriation, abuse of Office, nepotism, insider trading. I have a feeling he is going to be spending the remainder of his days in court.

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

Miami Herald is reporting the wall charity thing received US$30 million in 2019:

https://www.miamiherald.com/news/politics-government/state-politics/article245107440.html

and used US$21 million on 'administration' apparently. Miami Herald is the paper that brought to light the Epstein story.

I love it how our PM threw gentle shade on Trump over his laughable statements around the "surge" in NZ covid cases.

Biden acceptance speech okay. It was clear he was reading from a teleprompter but he didn't fumble or hesitate and the content was pretty good. I give him an eight.

In the Orange Lunatic's statements about NZ's Covid situation, the thing that really showed up his true nature was this bit.

'You see what's going on in New Zealand?.....they beat it because they wanted to show me something.'

Of course. Why else would we engage with, and combat, the Coronavirus? It was all for Trump's benefit.

There's only one star at the centre of Trump's universe - his beautiful self - with every thing and every other human, just props and bit players.

The Teleprompter comment is the most ludicrous thing ever. Any one giving a prepared speech in any kind of professional setting uses one. I remember when Obama was criticised as the teleprompter candidate. At the same time McCain was reading his speeches off one. All by pundits speaking to a camera reading words off a teleprompter mounted next to one.

The Washington Post -  Convention Updates - Bloomberg says Trump has ‘done a bad job’  -

today

Some Democrats were surprised to hear former 2020 presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg would be speaking late in the program on the final night of the Democratic convention, given he isn’t a lifelong Democrat.

Bloomberg : “The two people running for president couldn’t be more different.”

One believes in facts. One does not. One listens to experts. The other thinks he knows everything. One looks forward and sees strength in America’s diversity. The other looks backwards. And sees immigrants as enemies and white supremacists as allies” ...

Would you rehire or work for someone who ran your business into the ground and who always does what’s best for him or her even when it hurts the company, and whose reckless decisions always put you in danger, and who spends more time tweeting than working?

If the answer is no, why the hell would we rehire Donald Trump for four more years?” ...

if you watch the video, that comment has been taken out of context, just like Police videos where you don't see the 5 seconds beforehand

they wanted to show me something is referring to the journalists holding up COVID country comparison charts
