Watched his speech, live on CBS.
Oh my god, so many lies. So much division. So much "2nd Ammendment good but I will not let people have their freedom of expression because 1st Ammendment bad"-style speech.

I wonder how well Ivanka and Tiffany get along with their stepmum?

Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel.
Samuel Johnson, April 7, 1775
EDIT
China makes virtually all American flags imported into the U.S.
These imports represent just a tiny fraction of the estimated 150 million U.S. flags Americans buy each year.

The problem is that the political stuff on Fox and even more so OANN is so completely bats**t crazy that I just tune out after a few seconds. To me it's the same as the nutters on Queen St. on Friday evening yelling about how the aliens are coming or whatever it is they shout about. So having it digested and commented on means it can maintain my attention rather than just tuning out the nutcase(s).
I can see your point, but I think that Noah and similar provide the best way of absorbing it. It's also a sad reflection on the state of US political reporting, pointed out some years ago by some political commentator or other, that you get better political analysis from late-night comedians than actual media sources.
I gotta admit, I have a hard time exposing myself to more than a couple of minutes of Fox or OANN, but I think it is a worthwhile pursuit in spite of the involuntary twitching and eye-rolling that it brings on. I have to keep reminding myself that a significant proportion of the American electorate think this way, and it is because of them that America is where it is now. We ignore them and their motivations at our peril.
I treat it as something unpleasant to challenge myself with, like flossing or strenuous exercise.

Don't forget Breitbart, a site with some of the snarkiest headlines I've ever seen, and some really nasty comments in there as well. Whaleoil (RIP) wasn't far behind with some of its commenters back in the day.
Trump's plan for the next four years:
"But so I think, I think it would be, I think it would be very, very, I think we'd have a very, very solid, we would continue what we're doing, we'd solidify what we've done, and we have other things on our plate that we want to get done," Trump told The New York Times' Peter Baker.
