Look closer, they aren't just flags. It's a phalanx of the KKK in disguise.
'Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.' Voltaire
'A patriot must always be ready to defend his country against his government President.' Edward Abbey
Trump and his cronies raise an interesting moral dilemma for most intelligent and decent people. If anyone were truly honest, I would venture that one would occasionally wish that he and his cronies would drop dead. I suspect the number of people who harbour such ill-wishes for them would vastly outweigh the number of people with similar sentiments for [insert name for any other politician].
Ugh, what a disgusting bunch.

The whole show is set up to troll "liberals".
Using the White House as a venue is arguably unconstitutional - no other president has dared. The crazy excessive flag display to symbolise "patriotism" by a pack of traitorous crooks - well if you don't like it, then you "obviously hate the flag". I doubt the way they set the flags up to resemble KKK garb was an "accident" - again it's probably deliberate to "own libs" - and create talking points about how "liberals" are the ones with crazy conspiracy theories.
It's "projection" - and it's what Trump fascists have been doing all along, controlling the dialogue by accusing democrats of being the delusional bad guys, while they gaslight, rape and plunder the nation. It's working too - there's no way 40% of the nation would be rabid Trumpists if they looked at facts objectively.

And Trump's Twitter typos are actually a means of sending secret messages to his followers as he protects the world from Satan-worshiping pedophiles.
You're reading way too much into simple nationalistic right-wing jingoism. It's a formula that works well, so they're going with it. There's no hidden meaning in there.
My apologies for an unusually long post:
The Washington Post - Words matter
Here are 11 words that were in heavy rotation at the Republican and Democrat National Conventions:
Abortion
“The Biden-Harris ticket is the most radically pro-abortion campaign in history. They and other politicians are Catholic in name only and abandon innocent lives.”
Lou Holtz, former college football coach
Virus
“We will never get our economy back on track, we will never get our kids safely back to school, we will never have our lives back, until we deal with this virus.”
Joe Biden, Democratic presidential nominee
Destroy
“We can never have a situation where things are going on as they are today. We must never allow mob rule. We can never allow mob rule.”
President Trump
Socialism
“Last time, Joe’s boss was Obama. This time it would be [Nancy] Pelosi, [Bernie] Sanders and ‘the Squad.’ Their vision for America is socialism. … Joe Biden and the socialist left would be a disaster for our economy.”
Nikki Haley, former U.N. ambassador
China
“For far too long, members of both parties allowed our country to be ripped off by our trading partners, especially China, who dumped steel into our markets and slapped tariffs on our products.”
Robert Vlaisavljevich, Democratic mayor of Eveleth, Minn.
Police
“They will defund, dismantle and destroy America’s law enforcement. When you are in trouble, and need police, don’t count on the Democrats.”
Kimberly Guilfoyle, Fox News host
Black
“Here at home, as George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and a never-ending list of innocent people of color continue to be murdered, stating the simple fact that a Black life matters is still met with derision from the nation’s highest office.”
Michelle Obama, former first lady
Hunter Biden
“A corrupt Ukrainian oligarch put Hunter on the board of his gas company, even though he had no experience in Ukraine or in the energy sector. None. Yet he was paid millions to do nothing. He only had one qualification that mattered: He was the son of the man in charge of distributing U.S. aid to Ukraine.”
Pam Bondi, former Florida attorney general
Divide
“Today Donald Trump has divided our country, diminished our greatness and demeaned everything that this statue represents. He even hid in a bunker as Americans were tear-gassed and beaten.”
Charles E. Schumer, Democratic senator from New York
Democracy
“Do not let them take away your power. Do not let them take away your democracy. Make a plan right now for how you are going to get involved and vote. Do it as early as you can and tell your family and friends how they can vote too.”
Barack Obama, former president
Hispanic
“President Trump built the most inclusive economy ever. Seven million jobs created pre-covid-19, and two-thirds of them went to women, African Americans and Hispanics.”
Tim Scott, Republican senator from South Carolina

Who on earth suggested "secret messages to his followers"? Not me. "Trolling liberals" - for sure.
If you think a multi-billion dollar campaign includes innocent "mistakes and oversights" wrt to things like the Hatch Act, then I've got a bridge to sell you.
So - despite requests to - and repeated refusal from - the estate of Leonard Cohen to use the song "Hallelujah", they used it anyway, twice. Was this a mistake? Absolutely not. Would your typical Trump supporter understand what was going on there? Way too hard for the evangelical morons to grasp, absolutely perfect for "owning libs though". Just coincidence or lack of oversight? - I think not.
freitasm: Trump at some point claimed Democrats wanted a law allowing abortion up to the nineth month...
The "full-term abortions" nonsense is a long-term tenet of anti-abortion radicals in the US. It's very effective because while everyone's distracted debating a nonexistent piece of fiction it derails any chance to have a serious debate about actual abortion issues. It's been used in NZ as well by anti-abortion radicals taking lessons from the US.
