What do you have to do to put your own family in a position where they'll quite happily bad mouth you to the whole world?

Diddle your relatives out of their inheritance, for starters.

I think it's been so obvious that Trump is what he is, that "qualified opinion" has no impact.  Trump's supporters know exactly what a piece of detritus he is and has always been - they're perfectly happy with that - and nothing will change their minds now.

It's become a distraction.  What you're seeing now is a shift to incite violence by "patriots" against a deliberately created enemy class (who will protest/retaliate).  Far-right impostors pose as "radical left terrorists" and incite or cause violence, vigilante "patriots" are given presidential approval.  It's centrally planned and coordinated textbook fascism, the cries for "law and order" to end inevitable chaos will shift centrists/moderates to the right, and then it's goodbye to "the land of the free".

Here's the all-too-common- completely unhinged Fox interview with the "people in the dark shadows controlling Biden" quote.

Early in Interview that's lots of Trump's signature "Adderall snorts"

You could have a party game where, during an upcoming presidential debate, you down a beer every time Trump snorts. Only recommended for people with cast-iron livers.

neb:
kingdragonfly: Sometimes snapping is referred to as an episode of narcissistic rage.

If you want to see what this is like, the famous and endless-satire-fodder scene from the end of Downfall is a good depiction of narcissistic rage. The link is to an extended version of the scene which also shows the calm and reasonableness (compared to earlier) that follows the rage.

CNBC: Former Trump advisor Michael Flynn loses appeal seeking quick dismissal of criminal case

A federal appeals court rejected a bid by former national security advisor Michael Flynn to force the dismissal of the criminal case in which he had been convicted of lying to FBI agents.

The 8-2 decision sends the case back for consideration by U.S. District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan in Washington.

Flynn, a retired Army lieutenant general who was President Trump’s first national security advisor, had pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his talks with a Russian diplomat before Trump’s inauguration.

It's "almost irrefutable fact" that Dolfie was being administered methamphetamine (and a lot of other drugs) by his doctor.

Trump's extraordinary sniffy performance in the 2016 debates was deeply suspicious. I'd be confident that whatever the drug of choice, they'll have that sorted - "no more snorting - there's better ways, and nobody will be able to tell".

If I was god, I'd substitute whatever they're using to prop him up with MDMA.  The results could be spectacular - imagine a lovey dovey touchy-feely Trump in a debate.

Oh Hillary had been coached how to avoid that kind of thing, according to the book Shattered.

I hate to imagine what he would do to that poor American flag.

FineWine:

Because his policies were and are offensive and very much self serving and which have ruined your country. Bidens' policies are; to get rid of Trump, repair the damage and reunite America (though I feel that will take several Presidents) and if Biden dies in office and VP Harris is sworn in, I feel she will offer a 'Ray of Hope'. Is or will America recognise that Hope and be brave enough to grab hold of it ?

Those aren't policies, just slogans.  Its like the "Battle for the Soul of the Nation" - meaningless waffle.  Or "Be Respected Abroad Again" - rich college educated Americans on vacation, just want to be able to order their Starbucks in Paris without being embarrassed, with Trump as President.

They could've gone with:

  • You Know, The Thing!
  • Medicare for Some!
  • Russia Did It!
  • I'm With Her!
  • Where Compromise is King!
  • MSNBC Approved!
  • You Got Nowhere Else to Go!
  • Settle for Biden

The only Biden slogan I like is the "Build Back Better" because Trump, "the builder" didn't do any big infrastructure projects, despite promising them.

What about his "wonderful, beautiful" (ridiculous) wall? Didn't some of that get built? And Mexico paid for it, or so he says.

Something ain't right here when your own party turns on you.

(note: an opinion, not fact; before nathan says something about CNN being on the Democrats side).
