Batman: I've got some googling to do it seems...

Identity politics is for the upper-middle class white liberals, the Dems are the party of.

But non-white voters reject identity politics the Dems use to pander to them e.g. only 1 in 4 Latinos even see themselves as brown/person of color

race is a way the elites divide, conquer and control us, so that we don't focus on class-warfare

these people are so ideologically bankrupt, they thought selecting a black female VP for the ticket, is the key to getting black people excited, turn out, vote and forget about Biden's 47 years of racist voting record.  Biden is at risk of losing specifically for the same reasons Hilary lost, depressed turnout from the base of the Dem party, and low turnout from black and Latino voters in particular

as you may be aware, there is genuine concern Trump will not leave office if he is voted out, but the way I see it, the way he is lying everyday, I think he's actually trying to rig the elections. I've watched elections being rigged in Europe, Africa and Asia - it's not that hard to do it, esp in a big country if you have the know how. I think he knows how.

I'm going to call it. Trump will rig the election.

A rogues gallery of villains, several Republicans have pushed back on Trump refusing to commit to a peaceful transfer of power. Notable are cowards that NEVER push back on Trump.

Make sense snice the wealthy want stability above everything else. Can't collect them rent checks if the country in chaos.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell “There will be an orderly transition just as there has been every four years since 1792,” McConnell tweeted.

Rep. Liz Cheney is the eldest daughter of former Vice President Dick "shoot your friend in the face" Cheney.

“The peaceful transfer of power is enshrined in our Constitution and fundamental to the survival of our Republic,” Cheney tweeted. “America’s leaders swear an oath to the Constitution. We will uphold that oath.”

Senator Lindsey Graham told Fox News on Thursday that the election results may face litigation in the Supreme Court, but that Republicans would “accept” the results if they lose

And people wonder about the peaceful transfer of power, I can assure you it will be peaceful,” Graham continued. “Now we may have litigation about who won the election, but the court will decide and if Republicans lose we will accept that result.”

Some republicans are more hesitant to promise a peaceful transition Rep. Kevin McCarthy of California, the House’s top Republican, said during a press briefing Thursday that he believes there will be a “smooth transition” and that Trump “will have a very good inaugural.”

While this may sounds like good news, I'd expect Eric Trump to "take the 5th" like any other mobster.

New York attorney General

"A judge just ruled that Eric Trump can no longer delay an interview under oath with my office as part of our ongoing investigation into financial dealings of the Trump Organization.

Eric Trump must interview with my office by October 7th, 2020."

The New York Times - Trump Again Sows Doubt About Election as G.O.P. Scrambles to Assure Voters

today

WASHINGTON - President Trump declined for a second straight day to commit to a peaceful transfer of power if he lost the election, repeating baseless assertions that the voting would be a “big scam,” even as leading Republicans scrambled to assure the public that their party would respect the Constitution.

The president doubled down on his stance just hours after prominent Republicans made it clear that they were committed to the orderly transfer of power, without directly rebuking him.

The winner of the November 3rd election will be inaugurated on January 20th,” Mitch McConnell, the Senate majority leader, wrote on Twitter early Thursday. “There will be an orderly transition just as there has been every four years since 1792.”

Democrats were far less restrained, comparing Mr. Trump’s comments to those of an authoritarian leader and warning Americans to take his stance seriously.

You are not in North Korea; you are not in Turkey; you are not in Russia, Mr. President, and by the way, you are not in Saudi Arabia,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said. “You are in the United States of America. It is a democracy, so why don’t you just try for a moment to honor your oath of office to the Constitution of the United States?

Chris Edelson, an American University professor who has studied the expansion of presidential power during national emergencies, said Mr. Trump’s comments represented a unique threat to a central pillar of democracy.

It’s impossible to underscore how absolutely extraordinary this situation is - there are really no precedents in our country,” he said. “This is a president who has threatened to jail his political opponents. Now he is suggesting he would not respect the results of an election. These are serious warning signs.” ...

Given that Eric Trump is considered the dumbest one, I'd love to see if he'd turn state-witness against his father.

I'm sure Trump would do the same if the situation was reversed.

He forgot to add "use my words against me" as he's done before when he's lying. These are the same people who said they'd never try and push through a SCOTUS judge in an election year, how can you believe anything they say now?

the question to ask is, would the Dems do the same thing, if they could?

would the outrage-o-meter be off the charts, if this was a Dem President and Dem Senate, literally following the constitution...
