Personally, I can't see Trump winning the election.

But if he does, I doubt he'll be blowing out candles on June 14th.

TRUMP ACCUSES NEW ZEALAND’S PRIME MINISTER OF COMPETENTLY HANDLING THE CORONAVIRUS TO GET RE-ELECTED

JANESVILLE, WI (The Borowitz Report)—Calling New Zealand’s Prime Minister “crooked and rigged,” Donald J. Trump accused Jacinda Ardern of competently handling the coronavirus pandemic in order to get reelected.

Speaking at a rally in Wisconsin, Trump called Ardern’s use of public-health measures to mitigate the impact of the coronavirus on her nation “a sleazy political move like you wouldn’t believe.”

“This woman wanted to get reelected, so she decided to go after the coronavirus and beat it,” he said. “This woman is a disgrace.”

Ramping up his attack on Ardern, Trump accused her of securing her election victory by “listening to scientists.”

“She was talking to scientists every day,” Trump charged. “It’s all going to come out when we see her e-mails.”

In a final denunciation of Ardern’s successful handling of the pandemic, Trump vowed, “You’ll never see me pulling a stunt like that.”

In case anyone's missed it, there's some mini-series on the Trump presidency tonight on TV1 I think, at 8:30.

I have no idea if he will win or not, but if he does, of course he will still be alive. He's got the best doctors and medicine around him. He'd be busy planning for Jared and Ivanka to succeed him.

Two US friends who I've forwarded this to have now said that they couldn't tell initially that this was satire. Oy vey, what a world we live in.

I posted this on Twitter and someone asked if this shouldn't be on The Onion. I explained it is a satire and the person was surprised.

Perhaps because Trump is capable of anything, including being a very full orange sack of shit?

The fact they couldn't tell that is satire is the reason people like Trump get elected.

Watched part 1 of the Trump documentary on TV 1. Surprisingly it came across a tad neutral towards him. Another two parts to go and that may well change. Steve Bannon the former chief strategist to Trump and Anthony Scaramucci his communications director who was fired within 11 days commented on the West Wing climate at the time as being pure poison with knives out among the various factions.

I find it interesting that after being so unceremoniously dumped, Bannon now claims to have dirt that Biden misused his position to benefit his son, and that more evidence is coming in the next few days by way of a hard drive with emails. That puts him back in Trumps court as supporting him which is rather strange after his treatment.

The show is just beginning with 16 days left till the election. It’s either a bombshell or a big lie. Either way this election will be the grande finale soap opera to a crazy year.

Eva888: Watched part 1 of the Trump documentary on TV 1.

I liked the use of Ennio Morricone's 'Ecstasy of Gold' as the closing music, definitely the right theme for Trump's dictator style decoration. They really got it right with that one...

The whole "hard drive" of emails story has been totally debunked.

I found the doco quite whelming. I was neither blown away nor completely disappointed by it.

Looking forward to it being more...revealing, when it resumes in part two.

I'd also like to see more of the family's involvement as they are being given jobs and security clearances and access to foreign powers like no other first family ever has.

I assume you mean because he will be unable to blow hard enough to put out candles as a result of his COVID infection?

I think Trump blows pretty hard, with or without Covid.
