Oh,  Rudy Giuliani.  I'd have been somewhat sympathetic for him being a mere stupid fool, dumb enough to be caught in a compromising position - but he really deserves to be mocked mercilessly.

We knew Rudy was in the movie because he made a big deal about it when it was filmed. You might recall, he called NYPD on Cohen at the time ... claiming the actor busted in the room wearing "a pink transgender outfit."

Rudy boasted to reporters afterward, "I thought about all the people he previously fooled, and I felt good about myself because he didn’t get me." He also stated he was a fan of Borat and didn't hold a grudge over the prank.

I remember the days when "Candid Camera" was entertainment. It still is.

The Washington Post - today

headings only ...

The 5-Minute Fix: Why coronavirus stimulus looks like a long shot

We can say with more certainty than at any time in the past few months that there probably won’t be a coronavirus stimulus bill before the election.

  1. [Democrats and Republicans] cannot agree on how much money is needed

  2. President Trump has been erratic

  3. Trump has struggled to bring on Senate Republicans

  4. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) has stayed consistent with what she wants

The Washington Post - Obama delivers fiery rebuke of Trump’s character

today

For Democrats who have complained that Obama hasn’t spoken out enough against Trump over the past four years, the former president made up for lost time Wednesday night ...

In his first appearance on the campaign trail on behalf of Biden and Harris, Obama unleashed a brutal takedown of Trump on topics ranging from the president’s handling of the coronavirus to his character.

Eight months into this pandemic, cases are rising again across this country,” Obama said. “Donald Trump isn’t suddenly going to protect all of us. He can’t even take the basic steps to protect himself.”

This is not a reality show. This is reality. And the rest of us have had to live with the consequences of him proving himself incapable of taking the job seriously.

With Joe and Kamala at the helm, you’re not going to have to think about the crazy things they said every day.

“You’ll be able to go about your lives knowing that the president is not going to retweet conspiracy theories about secret cabals running the world or that Navy SEALs didn’t actually kill [Osama] bin Laden.” ...

BBC News - Trump's lawyer Giuliani dismisses 'compromising' clip from new Borat film

today

Donald Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani has dismissed as a "complete fabrication" a clip from a new Borat film appearing to show him with hands down his trousers.

"I was tucking in my shirt after taking off the recording equipment," the former New York City mayor tweeted.

He was referring to an episode in the film, starring UK comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, where he is interviewed by an actress posing as a TV journalist. ...

From columnist Maureen Dowd tweet

"I’ve seen the Giuliani moment in Borat 2. It’s even wilder than it sounds. Beyond cringe."

Bugger that, “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan” is coming out Friday as well, I'd much rather watch that for the Giuliani scene.

here is the uncut interview that the White House put . It is hard to watch if you have any intelligence. i like his comment that if you do zero tests then you will have no covid cases, he actually believes that 🤨

Common sense is not as common as you think.

In fairness to Trump, I understand what he's saying - he just doesn't articulate it very well. He's 100% correct that more testing means there will be more KNOWN cases.

Now, I have no idea if his claims about having the highest testing rates is true. But what he can't argue against is the USAs very high per capita death rate from COVID.
