If I was him I'd be applying for asylum in order to avoid having to return to the US...

No, we don't need his sort here. He decided he was going to skip managed isolation on his way back in last time because he's too important for that. Of course we let him, because we don't want to offend Donald Trump. :-/

Oh, he's a Trumper. In that case they're welcome to him, preferably at one of Trump's superspreader rallies.

FineWine: Out going Presidents also traditionally leave a note to the incoming president on the Resolute Desk. I wonder what DJT's note will say to President Joe Biden

More or less some insults and some kind of threats in case Biden considers any kind of federal prosecution I expect. I reckon there's not much chance of federal prosecution for anything tho. Seems really unlikely.

If Chump loses do you think he will turn up for Biden's inauguration?

Possibly - but a presidential pardon would only apply to federal offenses - state prosecutions are still possible and probable ...  😐

... and his creditors can still pursue him.   🙂

Australia really seems to breed vocal and unashamed racists. I'd argue it's much more prevalent in Australia than America.

A case in point: A rebuke to Australian columnist Greg Sheridan. He argued that "A Donald Trump victory would be better for Australia than a Joe Biden presidency."

The same columnist recently wrote "No international halo is so shabby, or so fraudulent, as that worn by New Zealand Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern"

He also said “Most African Americans are middle class, and they don’t suffer daily, shocking racism. I myself have lived in the United States on four separate occasions. And I never saw any racial confrontation. I never heard anyone make a racist remark.”

He also penned an article called "The great climate fiction"

John Birmingham comments after an edited Greg Sheridan interview.

Alien Sideboob blog: Step away from the bathtub gin, Mister Sheridan.

"I hope you people appreciate this. I read Greg Sheridan’s column so you didn’t have to. And I edited the enormous load of old c untswallop because apparently nobody at The Australian was up for the gig.

The Australian: "Strange but True... Donald Trump is better for us than Joe Biden."

Only the best people ...

The Washington Post - White House coronavirus adviser Scott Atlas apologizes for RT interview

breaking

White House coronavirus adviser Scott Atlas apologized on Sunday for appearing on Russian state television, days before the election.

I recently did an interview with RT and was unaware they are a registered foreign agent. ..." Atlas said.

In the interview, he blasted shutdowns and played down the virus.

A senior White House official said Atlas did not have permission to do the interview. “We obviously would have flagged. It’s a propaganda arm of the Kremlin,” the official said.

Atlas, the favored adviser of Trump who opposes shutdowns and has promoted herd immunity internally, has increasingly come under scrutiny for his actions inside the administration.

In an interview with The Washington Post on Friday night, infectious-disease expert Anthony S. Fauci said he had “real problems” with Atlas. ...

The country's in the very best of hands ... 😮

Story not contained in link, here's an alternative from NPR, which is guaranteed not to be paywalled.

Says it all for Scott Atlas that has had no idea that Russia Today might, you know, have something to do with a foreign state.

He does, only his criteria for "best" don't necessarily match other peoples' criteria.

9,718,648 people have voted early in Texas.

That's 8% more than the total number of people who voted in Texas in 2016.

Hawaii and Montana have also exceeded 2016 votes with early votes.
