Paul1977:

Do the Democrats of a chance of gaining a majority in the Senate?

I assume they'll retain control of the House, but it would great if they secured all three branches.

Nope.

Best hope is a 50:50 split, with the VP able to cast a deciding vote.

Democrats will really need to perform, focus on 2022 mid terms to try to gain a majority.

I'm guessing this will be part of a reason why Trump will announce early that he'll run in 2024.  He absolutely is a cult, despite his immense failures as President, populism worked.  They (GOP) don't have anyone else who could get away with continuing the lies.

Trump won't be able to run in 2024. Except around the exercise yard, maybe.

Trump crowned? No faux King way!

He only needs 270 to win.  If he could lose 50lbs on a prison diet, he's in with a chance.

Why not? They cannot serve more then two terms, he has seved one. Its happened before

If Trump did attempt a comeback, he would not be the first US president to do so, with President Grover Cleveland making a successful second election bid in 1892.

Cleveland became the 22nd president of the US in 1884, but was defeated in his re-election bid against Republican rival Benjamin Harrison.

In 1892, Cleveland made a comeback, however, becoming the 24th president as well.

Batman:

if you're meaning trump's tweets in the last few days, i don't think anyone can stop what he wants to do.

Twitter could.

They probably will too.  Once he's "citizen Trump" with no constitutional power, there's no longer any reason to allow him to not fully abide with Twitter T&C.

Twitter won't stop him. He's a nice little earner for them. That's probably why they just flag his posts rather than remove them. It encourages more views.

Trump looking and sounding very tired and dispirited, also rambling all over the place. This is a portrait of a disintegrating individual.

His ramblings are just sad. Half of Americans voted for this guy - twice.

Shame on everyone - those who voted for him and those who could but did not vote.

Pathetic, rambling, tired, broken, drowning in self pity.

Truly sad.

By my estimate around 100 million Americans who are eligible to vote can't or don't and that's with this years record turnout. So the large majority of Americans don't support either candidate.
