No way. No way at all. Bridges well and truly burned. He has succeeded (for once) to ensure he is banned.

Oh I dunno, Lyin' Ted still seems to love him enough to want to backup his bs electoral fraud claims.

The Washington Post - Pence declares Biden winner of the presidential election after Congress counts electoral votes

breaking

Vice President Pence declared Democrat Joe Biden the winner of the presidential election after Congress counted the electoral votes after a violent day at the Capitol. Pence also announced that Sen. Kamala D. Harris (D-Calif.) was the winner of the vice presidency.

Early Thursday morning, the Senate and House had voted to reject Trump loyalists’ challenges to Biden’s win in Pennsylvania. Congress resumed the count after a pro-Trump mob had attacked the Capitol. ...

"Trump, Hawley and Cruz will each wear the scarlet ‘S’ of a seditionist"

The Trump-Hawley-Cruz insurrection against constitutional government will be an indelible stain on the nation. They, however, will not be so permanent. In 14 days, one of them will be removed from office by the constitutional processes he neither fathoms nor favors. It will take longer to scrub the other two from public life. Until that hygienic outcome is accomplished, from this day forward, everything they say or do or advocate should be disregarded as patent attempts to distract attention from the lurid fact of what they have become. Each will wear a scarlet “S” as a seditionist.

"Impeach and Convict. Right Now."

It wasn’t hard to see, when it began, that it would end exactly the way it has. Donald Trump is America’s willful arsonist, the man who lit the match under the fabric of our constitutional republic.

The duty of the House of Representatives and the Senate, once they certify Joe Biden’s election, is to reconvene, Wednesday night if possible, to impeach the president and then remove him from office and bar him from ever holding office again.

To allow Trump to serve out his term, however brief it may be, puts the nation’s safety at risk, leaves our reputation as a democracy in tatters and evades the inescapable truth that the assault on Congress was an act of violent sedition aided and abetted by a lawless, immoral and terrifying president.

From the moment Trump became the G.O.P. front-runner in 2015, it was obvious who he was and where, if given the chance, he would take America. He was a malignant narcissist in his person. A fraudster in his businesses. A bully in his relationships. And a demagogue in his politics.

Statement by Trump:

Following a formal affirmation of President-elect Joe Biden's Electoral College victory, President Trump said the decision "represents the end of the greatest first term in presidential history."

"Even though I totally disagree with the outcome of the election, and the facts bear me out, nevertheless there will be an orderly transition on January 20th," Trump said in a statement.

"I have always said we would continue our fight to ensure that only legal votes were counted. While this represents the end of the greatest first term in presidential history, it’s only the beginning of our fight to Make America Great Again,"

Trump said while repeating false claims about the election that incited a mob to storm the Capitol.

How can they leave this prick in the Whitehouse for even one more day?

How can he be judged so irresponsible that he is banned from tweeting yet OK to have control of the nuclear codes?

He is so fond of chanting lock her/him up he clearly thinks it OK so oblige him by locking him up, along with his egregious family. Perhaps Guiliano could just go into a home for the mentally deranged.

These aides had the presence of spirit of taking the votes with them when leaving the chambers before the mob invaded. These are heroes.

Until he changes his mind in a couple of days when he thinks the dust has settled enough. He’s only saying this now because he doesn’t want to be removed under the 25th amendment. And he’s still shouting fraud. His word is worthless, he needs to be removed immediately.

Cannot agree. Yes, the pandemic with this mob of riotous people is an issue, but in context of the 300+ million, it's not. Covid transmissions from this mob who dont care anyway isn't an issue, it happens anyway. You saw the news feed about that town that shames mask wearers? Same thing. You are diverting this issue today, as if two say, its not that bad, lets talk Covid

How am I diverting it? I don't give a damn about the mob or if they get sick - it's the legislators in the building they invaded (in a finely balanced house of representatives) that I'm worried about. Imagine having to hold a by-election in that political climate.
