Handle9: Hysteria much? It’s one article that they have acknowledged they would do a bit differently next time.

Hypercritical much? Journalistic standards are important. Maybe less so in some parts of the world.

Newsroom bills itself as 'quality NZ journalism' on its banners pitching for subscribers, and to be fair their articles are usually to a far higher standard than this.

It's a rare, very rare miss, but it's a miss none the less. The 'puppet master' defence used by Jennings is a bit much tho.

I agree, and yes it's only one article, but I'm hoping this one is the exception rather than the norm.

Newsroom generally produces good, interesting news and opinion. They got this one wrong. It’ll happen from time to time.

It'll happen less when critical readers make a big deal of it.

Yet more comedy worthy content from the protests (a few days old).

[content warning] - the below interview subject is Liz Gunn, Spokesperson for a well known anti covid-19 vaccine & anti mask group. Interview is conducted by Counterspin media, a small media organisation that publishes a lot of misinformation. Basically NZ's version of Infowars. Content is also cut lot of times.

"I was in wellington.... A number of us that were their have been very sick. Um, And I don't know Weather that's certian things that they were putting on the crowd, that have effected our immune system."

Big cough around 40 seconds.

1:08: "Sorry guys I am having trouble with my breathing."

1:15: "Sorry my temperature is spiking up now..."

It's hard to comprehend how someone can deny to this extent. Is Gunn being paid for this?

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

But yes, it's pathetic really. She's had a massive fall from grace, she'll never work in media again and this is probably the best she can hope for now, she's screaming out for attention and this is probably the only way she can get it.

As one of the replies on that tweet said, if the Government was really "spraying things on the crowd", how come no police have come forward reporting the same symptoms?

Yeah. The antimaskvax whatever protest group has been turning up to marae and similar places in different area and acting super-entitled and demanding. They have been told to go away in many different ways

Good job. I don't know why they would even entertain the idea they would be welcome on a marae anywhere.

I don't really think this was a simple "mistake" - she took the video, uploaded it, no doubt had to confirm the upload and then it started from there?

The nicest way to put it is that I think she has mental health issues. I'm not saying that to be a meanie. I think that she, like many of the other anti[whatevers] has suffered some kind of mental trauma at some point and it's had a deep affect of her.
