I'm sure it is for those who are interested but I am an old person and I have already wasted too much of my remaining life on that wonker. Watching paint dry is so much more rewarding.

I agree. I watched the original series, live. It's yesterdays news now, I'd rather leave it that way
JaseNZ: The forming of a new party would not surprise me in the least if it happened.

The Washington Post - Dominion files defamation lawsuit against Giuliani
today
Dominion Voting Systems filed a defamation lawsuit Monday seeking $1.3 billion from Rudolph W. Giuliani, a lawyer for Trump who played a key role in promoting the falsehood that the 2020 election was rigged.
The 107-page complaint, filed in federal court in the District, cites dozens of statements Giuliani made about Dominion ... to promote the “false preconceived narrative” that the election was stolen from Trump.
That “Big Lie” not only damaged Dominion’s reputation and business but also laid the groundwork for hundreds of people to storm the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, the complaint says. ...
Those accusations, which were repeated in lawsuits filed by lawyer Sidney Powell, have been rejected by courts in multiple states. ...
Dominion filed a defamation lawsuit against Powell last month, also seeking $1.3 billion. ...

The Washington Post - Inspector general will investigate whether any Justice Dept. officials improperly sought to help Trump overturn the election
breaking
The Justice Department’s inspector general announced Monday that its office is opening an investigation into whether any current or former department official tried to improperly “alter the outcome of the 2020 Presidential Election” - a broad review that comes on the heels of a revelation that then-President Donald Trump considered replacing his acting attorney general with an official more amenable to his unfounded claims of voter fraud.
Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz announced the review in a two paragraph news release, though he noted his jurisdiction would be limited to “allegations concerning the conduct of former and current DOJ employees,” and he could not examine other government officials. ...

The New York Times - Justice Dept. Watchdog Opens Inquiry Into Any ‘Improper Attempt’ by Officials to Overturn Election
A Justice Department watchdog has opened an investigation into whether any current or former officials tried improperly to wield the powers of the department to undo the results of the presidential election.
The investigation, which was announced by the office of the inspector general, Michael E. Horowitz, followed a New York Times article that detailed efforts by Jeffrey Clark, the acting head of the Justice Department’s civil division, to push top leaders to falsely and publicly assert that ongoing election fraud investigations cast doubt on the Electoral College results. ...

"Sarah Huckabee Sanders: The Trump defender enters political race"
And she will probably get some votes - how could anyone vote on someone that lied without even flinching?
Sarah Huckabee Sanders is back in the political game, announcing on Monday that she's running for the Republican nomination to be the governor of Arkansas in the 2022 election.
In true Trumpian fashion, his former White House press secretary broke the news in a video posted on Twitter.
Calling the job of governor the "last line of defence" against a federal government now in Democratic control, Sanders emphasised public safety, law enforcement and perceived censorship of conservative views in her eight-minute announcement.

Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani sued by Dominion voting machine firm - BBC News
A firm which provided voting machinery in last year's US presidential election is filing a defamation suit against Donald Trump's lawyer Rudolph Giuliani, seeking $1.3bn (£950m) in damages.
Dominion Voting Systems accuses Mr Giuliani of using Twitter and media appearances to promote a false narrative that the election was stolen.
Mr Trump has refused to concede that Joe Biden won the 2020 election fairly.
Mr Giuliani said the case would give him a chance to prove his allegations.
Following the election Mr Giuliani repeated claims that Dominion was a Venezuelan enterprise and its machines switched votes from Mr Trump, a Republican, to Mr Biden, a Democrat.
But the accusations have been rejected by courts in a number of states.

They could call it the AGR, which could mean
- America's great revival
- but in reality it would mean "Al Gore's revenge"
Remember in 2000 Al Gore lost to George W. Bush because independent Ralph Nader split the democratic vote just enough to toss the election to the Republicans.
I think that's the point. Trump is using the threat of stealing enough votes away from the Republicans that they'll keep losing to Democrats. This is to scare them into voting for acquittal. I don't think even Trump thinks a 3rd party would ever have a chance in America's 2 party system.
