Stuff's article "The Collapse of Camp Freedom" makes for compelling reading/viewing.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

It definitely does. Ridiculous that that Baker woman was saying "the police started the fire" and then it becomes 100% fact in the mind of her followers and the protesters. I think she should also be held partly responsible for spreading misinformation too.

It is nothing new, they have been spreading misinformation for years. Things like humans just magically appearing from the sky.

Or Liz Gunn who is quite obviously sick with coronavirus, but instead she says "it must have been something the Government sprayed on us". Next thing she'll be talking about aliens and how they've caused this to happen 🙄

The doctor Carl Sagan warned us about. If you hear people quoting 'doctors' to support some very strange covid beliefs, this one will be near the top of their list:

McGill University: Superstitions did not disappear in the modern age, but with the COVID-19 pandemic driving people to spend more and more time online, anxiously searching for and simultaneously being bombarded by anything that looks like information, this prophesied crystal-clutching and horoscope-consulting is all the more evident. And there are misenlightened gurus who epitomize Sagan’s dire warning, chief among them Dr. Christiane Northrup.

Long article. Eye opening.

The next thing for Anti-Vax, Anti-Ukraine.

Russia's "firehose of falsehood" has hit New Zealand's conspiracy fringe, with pro-Putin disinformation now a mainstay of anti-vax forums, Marc Daalder reports

Once you have a networked siloed army of useful idiots you give them more things to do.

In case you hear workmates saying some 'out there' things about Ukraine and wonder where the hell it came from.

Not at Parliament specifically, but at least one lot of protesters have moved on peacefully, unlike their Wellington counterparts.

😢 thoughts from a policeman on the frontline on the last day.

That won't stop all those protesters from filing complaints to the IPCA about the nice policemen ruffling up their nice hair do or damaging their well manicured nails. 😎

Taken standing on the side of SH2 this afternoon, displayed in the front window of an independent hardware store.

I really have no words.

That's disgusting. Like the losers who used the crying Kiwi after the Christchurch mosque shooting in 2019, trying to equate it to vaccine mandates. Hell, even the creator of that image came out and asked them not to use it, as that was not the intention he created it for. Of course the antivaxxers are so wrapped up in their little world they probably couldn't care less what anyone outside their nutty little group thinks 🙄

One store to not bother spending any money in. At least you know what they think, making it an easy choice to avoid.

Like the other shops run by anti-vaxx clowns with few customers now, is this one still as popular? Or not really?

I guess that means they wont be requiring the services of the police at any time in the future then.
