As petty as it is, given the full loyalty that Pence gave Trump during his chaotic presidency, this (sadly) doesn't surprise me.

gzt: Trump VP candidate job description includes must reject election results and find some way clear for Trump to serve a third term and Trump descendents to automatically inherit the presidency.

kingdragonfly: On Fox "News", Geraldo triggers Janine Pirro By Claiming Putin Played Trump
The Young Turks
Fox host Janine Pirro went ballistic after Geraldo Rivera suggested that Vladimir Putin may have manipulated Donald Trump in order to promote Russia’s agenda abroad.
What Pirro didn’t mention was that she just interviewed Trump a few days ago where he was quoted supporting Putin’s invasion.
Is that Sarah Marshall in the middle? 😀
And now for the Really Bad News:
The Washington Post - Putin’s praisers in the West have suffered less than you might think
today
When Russian tanks rolled into Ukraine, some observers reasoned that the unmasking of Russian President Vladimir Putin would sour support for his Western appeasers. ...
But a smattering of emerging evidence also suggests that the war’s initial impact on core support for figures who have offered praise for Putin - from former president Donald Trump to Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro - is more of a mixed bag than the champions of liberal democracy might have hoped. ...
On Feb. 24, FiveThirtyEight’s polling averages showed favorable views of Trump at 42.9 percent - a figure that by March 15 had shifted slightly, to 41.8 percent.
A Wall Street Journal poll showed Trump’s support in early March at 41 percent, unchanged from last November. ...
... there is little indication that Trump has bled core support since the war began, or that his views have necessarily hurt his party.
There is apparently no cure for human stupidity. 🙁

41% isn't the electorate though. I do recall his support levels were surprisingly static - but that's also what doomed him, he didn't even try and appeal to people who didn't vote for him or try and expand his base.

POLL SHOWS ZELENSKY LEADING 2024 U.S. PRESIDENTIAL RACE
WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—In a development that could upend American politics, Volodymyr Zelensky has emerged as the front-runner in the 2024 U.S. Presidential contest.
According to the poll, Zelensky is the first choice of sixty per cent of Americans, followed by President Biden at thirty-three percent, Donald J. Trump at six percent, and Marjorie Taylor Greene at a quarter of one percent.
Davis Logsdon, who supervised the survey, said, the fact that Zelensky was not born in the U.S. was not seen as an obstacle to his becoming the nation’s President. He added, "Obviously, he doesn't speak fluent English either, but historically that's never been a problem.”

Interesting read about how Trump tried to pressure the Governor of Georgia to overturn the election results in his favour, and how the Governor told him to get stuffed.

The NY Times - Opinion - While Putin Shrinks, Zelensky Soars

Trump and Putin, what a pair, shrinking in stature in the eyes of the world. Tiny, tiny Trump and cruel fool Putin.
