As petty as it is, given the full loyalty that Pence gave Trump during his chaotic presidency, this (sadly) doesn't surprise me.

On Fox "News", Geraldo triggers Janine Pirro By Claiming Putin Played Trump

The Young Turks

Fox host Janine Pirro went ballistic after Geraldo Rivera suggested that Vladimir Putin may have manipulated Donald Trump in order to promote Russia’s agenda abroad.

What Pirro didn’t mention was that she just interviewed Trump a few days ago where he was quoted supporting Putin’s invasion.

A Don Junior tweet. Some great replies. His next tweets "dude I'm so coked out of my mind" was quickly deleted by one of his butlers :)

"Sending Biden to Europe for 'High Stakes' NATO talks will only embolden our enemies further.

If you want to get something done right send Trump."

And now for the Really Bad News:

The Washington Post - Putin’s praisers in the West have suffered less than you might think

today

When Russian tanks rolled into Ukraine, some observers reasoned that the unmasking of Russian President Vladimir Putin would sour support for his Western appeasers. ...

But a smattering of emerging evidence also suggests that the war’s initial impact on core support for figures who have offered praise for Putin - from former president Donald Trump to Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro - is more of a mixed bag than the champions of liberal democracy might have hoped. ...

On Feb. 24, FiveThirtyEight’s polling averages showed favorable views of Trump at 42.9 percent - a figure that by March 15 had shifted slightly, to 41.8 percent.

A Wall Street Journal poll showed Trump’s support in early March at 41 percent, unchanged from last November. ...

... there is little indication that Trump has bled core support since the war began, or that his views have necessarily hurt his party.

There is apparently no cure for human stupidity.  🙁

41% isn't the electorate though. I do recall his support levels were surprisingly static - but that's also what doomed him, he didn't even try and appeal to people who didn't vote for him or try and expand his base.

The Guardian: Trump White House aide was secret author of report used to push ‘big lie’

Weeks after the 2020 election, at least one Trump White House aide was named as secretly producing a report that alleged Donald Trump lost to Joe Biden because of Dominion Voting Systems – research that formed the basis of the former president’s wider efforts to overturn the election.

The Dominion report, subtitled “OVERVIEW 12/2/20 – History, Executives, Vote Manipulation Ability and Design, Foreign Ties”, was initially prepared so that it could be sent to legislatures in states where the Trump White House was trying to have Biden’s win reversed.

But top Trump officials would also use the research that stemmed from the White House aide-produced report to weigh other options to return Trump to the presidency, including having the former president sign off on executive orders to authorize sweeping emergency powers.

The previously unreported involvement of the Trump White House aide in the preparation of the Dominion report raises the extraordinary situation of at least one administration official being among the original sources of Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election.

The publicly available version of the Dominion report, which first surfaced in early December 2020 on the conservative outlet the Gateway Pundit, names on the cover and in metadata as its ... a volunteer on the Trump post-election legal team.

But the Dominion report was in fact produced by a senior Trump White House policy aide...

The original version of the Dominion report named [the aide] as the author on the cover page, until her name was abruptly replaced with that of [a volunteer] before the document was to be released publicly, the source said.

The involvement of a number of other Trump White House aides who worked in Navarro’s office was also scrubbed around that time, the source said. [The volunteer said] she had nothing to do with the report and did not know how her name came to be on the document.

It was not clear why [the aid's] name was removed from the report, which was sent to Trump’s former attorney Rudy Giuliani on 29 November 2020, or why the White House aide’s involvement was obfuscated in the final 2 December version.

POLL SHOWS ZELENSKY LEADING 2024 U.S. PRESIDENTIAL RACE

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—In a development that could upend American politics, Volodymyr Zelensky has emerged as the front-runner in the 2024 U.S. Presidential contest.

According to the poll, Zelensky is the first choice of sixty per cent of Americans, followed by President Biden at thirty-three percent, Donald J. Trump at six percent, and Marjorie Taylor Greene at a quarter of one percent.

Davis Logsdon, who supervised the survey, said, the fact that Zelensky was not born in the U.S. was not seen as an obstacle to his becoming the nation’s President. He added, "Obviously, he doesn't speak fluent English either, but historically that's never been a problem.”

Interesting read about how Trump tried to pressure the Governor of Georgia to overturn the election results in his favour, and how the Governor told him to get stuffed.

The NY Times - Opinion -
While Putin Shrinks, Zelensky Soars

19 March

Trump and Putin, what a pair, shrinking in stature in the eyes of the world. Tiny, tiny Trump and cruel fool Putin.

The corrupt, paranoid germophobes love surrounding themselves with sycophants, conjuring delusional worlds and giving unhinged rants. ...

Trump and Putin sowed the seeds of their own destruction. ...

I live in hope ...  💀
