A very cutting write-up of Trump's dinner with two anti-semites and one white supremacist, looking at how the hell it even happened in the first place.
freitasm:I read that article and I suspect the person writing that is not a native speaker and doesn't know much about it.
Given that the link is to Haaretz, a liberal Israeli newspaper, it's highly likely that the writer's first language is Hebrew, but the original source is this Guardian article.

I was referring to the link in this reply. This is not the link to the Haaretz.

Ah, was wondering what the language skills of a Haaretz editorial staff member had to do with it :-).

The Guardian - Republican leaders rebuke Trump over dinner with white supremacist
29 Nov 2022
The top two Republicans in Congress have broken their silence about Donald Trump’s dinner last week with the rightwing extremist Nick Fuentes, saying the Republican party has no place for antisemitism or white supremacy.
The Senate Republican leader, Mitch McConnell, and Kevin McCarthy, who may become House speaker in January, had not commented previously on the 22 November meeting. ...
“There is no room in the Republican party for antisemitism or white supremacy and anyone meeting with people advocating that point of view, in my judgment, are highly unlikely to ever be elected president of the United States,” McConnell told reporters on Tuesday – without mentioning Trump by name. ...
Too little, too late ... 😕🙁😕🙁

Not sure I'd bet on the continuing popularity of Musk-Twitter. Tesla owners apparently copping flack from other road users.

The problem with that cartoon is that Trump doesn't have any friends, only accomplices and toadies who last only as long as their usefulness does.
Plesse igmore amd axxept applogies in adbance fir anu typos
I'm reading this book about Trump now, a very interesting read. Reminded me of a few bits from his 2016 debates with Clinton that would be a portent of doom/what was to come, ie, him not accepting the election results if he lost.
