Trump's mental state has always been questioned but I suspect it may be deteriorating in his old age. His campaign seems to lack focus and energy and his self-destructive actions seem to have no useful point. I wonder if he is finally descending into full-blown madness. Don't know, just wondering.

Trump’s private club and residence in Florida, concluding a court fight that had delayed the Justice Department’s investigation for nearly three months. ...

The ruling last week by the appeals court panel, which included two Trump appointees, vacated an order issued in September by a fellow Trump appointee, Judge Aileen M. Cannon of the Southern District of Florida. ...

Even though the special master’s review has yielded no definitive result, Mr. Trump still has to pay for nearly three months of work.

It is unclear how much the effort has cost ... the price included hiring a vendor to scan about 13,000 documents and photographs, and paying for an assistant who billed $550 an hour.

I'm willing to bet that Trump won't pay. 🙄

WASHINGTON - Senator Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona announced on Friday that she would leave the Democratic Party and become an independent, unsettling the party divide anew just days after Democrats secured an expanded majority in the Senate.

“I have joined the growing numbers of Arizonans who reject party politics by declaring my independence from the broken partisan system in Washington,” she wrote in an op-ed published in The Arizona Republic.

Ms. Sinema, who was already facing a likely Democratic re-election challenge in 2024 after angering her party by opposing key elements of its agenda, will need to maintain some ties with Democrats to keep her committee seats and other benefits, since they would still hold a majority without her.

By now, you may have heard about the extreme right-wing conspiracy theory known as “QAnon.” Its followers believe in a secret “deep state plot” against President Donald Trump. On Wednesday, for the first time, the president not only acknowledged the conspiracy theorists, but praised them.

“These are people that don’t like seeing what’s going in in places like Portland and places like Chicago and New York and other cities and states. And I’ve heard these are people who love our country,” said Trump.

Last week, GOP candidate, 9/11 conspiracy theorist and QAnon supporter Marjorie Taylor Greene won her house primary runoff election in Georgia.

Deputy White House Counsel for President Bill Clinton “Cheryl Mills said to Hilary Clinton I’m going to sacrifice a chicken in my backyard to Moloch. If that’s not evidence that there’s Satan worship in our government…” said Greene in one video posted online.

Experts say the win was a signal that conspiracy theorists are breaking into the political mainstream. President Trump tweeted out his support for Greene after the win and congratulated her.
