And yet, black people including Tim Scott still defend the orange buffoon. I guess he must want to be his VP really badly.

Donald Trump and his closest allies are preparing a radical reshaping of American government if he regains the White House.

3. Target journalists for prosecution
Increase presidential power

5. Appoint lawyers who would bless his agenda as lawful
Aggressively expand his first-term efforts to upend America’s trade policies
1. Impose a “universal baseline tariff,” a new tax on most imported goods
2. Implement steep new trade restrictions on China to wrench apart the world’s two largest economies.
Retreat from military engagement with Europe

And guess who'll be first to go...
Trump crowned? No faux King way!
He would still have to get most of that crap past the House and Senate, wouldn't he? Or can he just issue executive orders for the whole lot?

That's assuming the House and Senate are still functioning.

A slightly different take from the other felon post:

Trump and the Art of Deflection:

Judge Aileen Cannon had been on the federal bench for little more than a year when a senior judge offered to preside over one of her first criminal trials in her isolated south Florida courthouse.
Inexperienced in such a degree that she shouldn't really be where she is.
And she is where she is because she was appointed by Trump.
Maaaaaybe there is a reason she is helping Trump delay, delay and delay the case?

Most certainly there's a reason she helps Trump and you said it. She is where she is because she was appointed by Trump.
However, the DOJ will be aware that giving the opposition a pass on this case - which was probably a lost cause anyway - allows them to shout, 'You call the NY Fraud case rigged? What about this blatant attempt by a Trump-favoring judge to pervert the cause of justice?'.

Nah. The MAGA crowd will see it as a just judge defending the rights of Emperor Trump. For them, it's not rigged at all.

The Washington Post - Opinion - As Biden rallies the free world, Trump serves a higher cause: Himself
07 June 2024
Trump’s first week as a “political prisoner” was trying.
He was sentenced to play round after round of arduous golf - including some very challenging par 5s!
He was forced to endure the harsh confines of his triplex at Trump Tower, his compound at Mar-a-Lago and his Boeing 757.
He was exposed to the dangerous conditions of an Ultimate Fighting Championship event - ringside, no less - for more than three hours.
He was even subjected to the most cruel and unusual punishments: a 90-minute interview with “Fox & Friends Weekend,” an hour with Sean Hannity and even a harrowing one-on-one with Newsmax.
Finally, he was transported all the way to Phoenix on Thursday and forced to experience the adoration of ardent supporters at a campaign event.
It's hard work being The Martyr of Mar-a-Lago. 😦
