How many weeks overdue is that supposedly four weeks away from being complete QC report again?

Not a Lawyer but maybe the name suppression is halting the release of the report.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

A review into allegations of sexual assault by a Labour Party staffer has been unable to substantiate the claims, but did identify "overbearing and aggressive" behaviour.

Not a satisfying outcome for anyone, I suspect, as even the follow-up email supposedly sent to senior Labour staffers seems like it didn't happen, or at least there is serious doubt that it did.

Not really sure anyone wins out of this - but being a QC report it should be seen as the final word.

As mentioned in the other thread, it's less about whether something happened or not (Though this is still important, of course) , but rather how you handle the allegation and the investigation. Neither was remotely acceptable.

Labour will probably win out of this, as a fair number of people won't be able to make the distinction.

I don't recall the exact comments at the time and I'm not up to trawling through the whole thread, but I had the impression that there was an assumption of guilt, as in here we go again. JA in her response has acknowledged that the party did not have the right mechanisms in place and could have handled things better, and has now changed how it does things. Either you accept that or you don't.

Interesting worth reading

Quote From the document

Ms Dew found there was insufficient evidence to back-up the most serious allegations, and critical elements of the complainant's version of events were inaccurate. She also reported the young woman and the man she accused had been in a consensual relationship for eight months before the alleged incident
