Completely agree and it just isn't logical anyway. Anyone with a memory longer three seconds knows Trump-Biden was scheduled for ABC already agreed by Trump and that Harris is logically keeping that schedule. Jumping to Fox News never made any sense to anyone and probably makes absolutely no sense to Trump's campaign team either.

They could always get something like the American Parliamentary Debate Association or National Parliamentary Debate Association to host it, they're as impartial/non-political as you can get and also have strict rules to ensure fair debates.  The TV stations could then send in their crews to record it as they please.

Of course it makes sense to Trump's team, it's his way of withdrawing from the debate while claiming he's not actually running away.  That's what I'd do too if I was Trump.

Ironically, to a lot of people, it looks like that's exactly what he's doing 😀

Not to his fans, though - they see it as him asking for a fair and impartial debate without fact-checking and Harris running away from the fairest, most credible, most excellent possible debate.
His fans see this as a win for him.

Reddit is an incredible place to see these unhinged kooks spout nonsense.

The Guardian: ABC host reportedly received death threats after Trump interview

ABC News’s senior congressional correspondent Rachel Scott has reportedly faced threats to her life after her piercing interview of Donald Trump at the National Association of Black Journalists convention left the former president fuming.

The NABJ’s executive director told members at a meeting on Saturday that “Scott had received death threats following her work asking incisive questions of … Trump at the group’s national convention” three days earlier, Eric Deggans of National Public Radio wrote in an X post published Saturday.
...
Scott asked Trump on Wednesday, “Why should Black voters trust you?” given his history of inflammatory comments about Black people. Among other questions, she also quizzed him about whether he believed Vice-President Kamala Harris had risen to the top of the Democratic ticket for November’s White House election solely “because she is a Black woman”.

Trump replied to Scott by accusing her of being “rude” and having presented a “nasty question”. In reference to Harris, who is of Jamaican and Indian descent, he said: “I didn’t know she was Black until a number of years ago when she happened to turn Black. And now she wants to be known as Black.

“So, I don’t know. Is she Indian, or is she Black?”

That's pathetic, even more pathetic that his rabid followers think a death threat is a suitable response towards a journalist asking a politician a hard question or a question he doesn't like.

Maybe he should just stick the other network he (apparently) didn't like until it suited him, Fox.

And I don't see any of this helping his support amongst Black voters, either.

People who make death threats about anything are sick, pathetic weirdos with deficient brains. Threatening to kill is the fall-back for those who don't have the cognitive ability or grasp of language to come up with anything more meaningful. It is a declaration of powerlessness. It is the grunt of a thug who lacks the capacity for thought. It is violent and despicable, and no-one should have to put up with it.

Yes of many persuasions, from Pentecostal Christians to neo-nazis.

Oddly there is still a large percentage who are just vote Red Repubs no matter what, but I think many of these would flip if they watched more than Fox and followed Elon on X.

I cant believe the nerve of one of the Trump appointed Justices, Gorsuch, to warn Biden over good SCOTUS changes and an ammendedment to remove Presidential immunity. I guess he might not want the FBI sniffing around his bitcoin holdings either.

I dont think the investigation into Thomas will occur before elections. However I also find it hard to believe hes the only one who has accepted lavish gifts at minimum $4M worth including Rus based ones.

Trumps former attorney Jenna Ellis has just flipped, another Trump legal eagle probably going to get locked up. This is in the "fake electors" scam in Arizona, 17 people have been prosecuted now including Giuliani.

A company who's
  • deep in debt,

  • with a CEO with a master's degree in agriculture in 1996, and a dubious job history as a community college trustee

  • the CEO continues to sue Twitter for $250 million for a parody account "Devin Nunes' Cow"

  • the company holding a huge amount of currently "locked-up" shares becoming salable all at once on September 25

  • had a weak first quarter report

  • has gone silent on its second quarter report, or set a date for its earnings report release
is putting on its big boy pants by writing its own custom streaming service, content delivery network / CDN.

What could go wrong? :)

Investor Place: DJT Stock Stumbles as Trump Media Launches the Truth+ Streaming App
...
“First, we created Truth Social to provide a safe harbor for free speech on the Internet,” said CEO Devin Nunes. “Now, we’re establishing a reliable home for great TV content that is neglected by the big corporations or is at risk of cancellation—and we are securing our own tech stack and hardware infrastructure to make our new CDN uncancellable.”
