Don't forget there may be another interesting show coming up. If Trump were to win the election, SCOTUS has stated that the current President has every right to stall the transfer of power until he, and no other, is absolutely satisfied that the election was carried out properly, lawfully and legally. This process could take months or years maybe, by which time Trump's mental state could have deteriorated to the point that he's incapable of taking office. What happens then?

The Twenty-fifth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution doesn't specifically address the situation of a president-elect becoming incapacitated before inauguration.

However, the general principle is that if a president-elect dies or becomes incapacitated before taking office, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) or Republican National Committee (RNC) would likely follow their party rules to select a replacement.

The replacement candidate would then be nominated by the party's electors in the Electoral College, I think

Long before that time the mental state of his cult followers would have burst into flames. The Democrats wouldn’t risk playing that game.

Summary in the form of a haiku:

"Donald's lawyer frowns,
Justice shifts, the scales tip right
News brings subtle smiles."

and a limerick:

"Two lawyers for Trump, quite shady,
Frowned at news that is weighty,
And their moods were quite bleak,
For it's justice we seek,
Donald can't escape jail, dear lady."

Judge approves releasing source documents with more Trump-Jan. 6 evidence: The Washington Post
...
In a two-page order, U.S. District Judge Tanya S. Chutkan ordered the release of a four-part appendix — with potentially significant redactions — listing the sources of quotes and information to support last week’s filing, which was meant to detail how the case could go forward after the Supreme Court ruled this summer that Trump enjoyed broad immunity.
...
Trump lawyers John Lauro and Todd Blanche had earlier asked the judge to keep the appendix hidden from public view, writing in a short filing, “There should be no further disclosures at this time of the so-called ‘evidence’ that the special counsel’s Office has unlawfully cherry-picked and mischaracterized — during early voting in the 2024 Presidential election — in connection with an improper Presidential immunity filing that has no basis in criminal procedure or judicial precedent.”

The Washington Post - Opinion - Yes, this is what Donald Trump really sounds like. No, you cannot ignore it.  (free unlocked link)

The former president’s rallies and interviews in recent weeks should remind voters what he really represents.*

Cities seek more than $750K in unpaid bills for Trump campaign events since 2016: NBC News

Former President Donald Trump held a third rally last month in Erie, Pennsylvania, which sits in the northwest corner of a swing state that could decide who wins the White House.

Like the two other times Trump has been to Erie to rev up his supporters, he left without paying the bill.

City officials haven't yet tallied up what the Trump campaign owes Erie for public safety costs for his most recent rally in September.

But according to a city official, Trump owes the city more than $40,000 for the rallies he held there in 2018 and 2023.

Erie, whose bills were previously reported by the Erie Times-News, isn't the only city that has hosted Trump rallies and not been paid by the campaign.

Including Erie, four cities and a county confirmed to NBC News that they're still waiting for the Trump campaign to pay bills often associated with reimbursements for the costs of local law enforcement and other first responder personnel.

The final price tag is more than $750,000 for those five jurisdictions, with some bills dating back eight years.

To be fair some of those bills might fall at the feet of the Secret Service as they will have requested some of the services charged for.

That said it doesn't absolve the Trump (Chump) campaign from paying what they owe.

Just saw a video about a Trump Rally held on private land recently, where everyone had park miles away and got bussed in.
It took several hours to get everyone there and then after they'd heard his awful rhetoric, they went to leave and...there were no buses.

The assumption is that the bus bills weren't paid, but I haven't seen any evidence of that. I also don;t know how mnay hours those people waited to get home, but it was a 5-6 mile walk to the carparks, so I'd imagine poeple were VERY late home.

Did the Orange Lord care? No. He apparently went on a rant about immigrants.

Trump loved Ivanka so much that he buried her alone off a golf course, on an ill maintained grave plot.

Her only connection to the entire state of New Jersey is occasionally she tagged along with Trump to play golf at his golf course. The only plausible reason for burying her there is for a tax break.

Are These Real 2023 Photos of Ivana Trump's Burial Site at Trump Golf Course? True: Snopes
