White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt continued to insist the president’s tariffs and other economic policies would lead to an economic boom, amid questions from reporters over U.S-China relations and tariff deals with other countries.

"Trust in Trump"

or the very apt acronym "TiT"

or as the British say "That American is a tit."

The US announced it removed the commander of the Pituffik Space Base in Greenland on Thursday because of a “loss of confidence in her ability to lead,” after Vice President JD Vance’s controversial visit to the semiautonomous island last month.

Vance continued "we looking for historical examples of a female leader, that best exemplify the Trump navigation of the world economy, like Amelia Earhart"

^ Many examples of the MAGA crowd now complaining that the leopard ate their face. The ones where they tag the orange buffoon personally seeking help from him directly crack me up - it's like they think he gave a crap about them in the first place 😆

https://www.msn.com/en-us/travel/news/not-going-to-support-that-guy-canadians-freeze-visits-to-the-u-s-over-trump/ar-AA1CMZbK?cvid=646e477432994dcea897e12484f7330c&ei=12

^ Canadians are pulling back from visits and holidays to the US. The White House seems to think this will all end soon because “President Trump’s agenda to make America wealthy, safe, and beautiful again benefits Americans and international visitors alike,” said White House spokesperson Anna Kelly. “New York will break tourism records when the Trump administration is finished deporting illegal migrant lunatics who set subway riders on fire.”.

She's incredibly optimistic, I have a feeling the current situation will be the status quo for the next 4 years. Even worse if he (somehow) runs again and wins in 2028 - or James wins in 2028.

God bless the old f_cks.

The world can burn and their grandchildren can go to hell and they don't care.

But raise the prices of prunes & Jell-O salads, touch Social Security, Medicare or the stock that 401K retirement plans rely on, and it's pitchfork time.

https://www.1news.co.nz/2025/04/13/trump-to-exempt-phones-computers-from-new-reciprocal-tariffs/

The Trump administration has announced it will exclude electronics like smartphones and laptops from reciprocal tariffs, a move that could help keep the prices down for consumer electronics that aren’t usually made in the US

What a shambles. He has no idea what he's doing. Who is giving him advice telling him that this nonsense is (somehow) a good thing, or good for his party?

I hope the Republicans get their what-for at the midterms next year - they've more than earnt it!

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

Tariff on again off again.

While Penguins freeload.

Insider trading Whales make bank again, and again.

USA has 9 out of the top ten Billionaires.
The wealthiest companies too.
Many in advertising/social-media, tech services , that have virtual monopolies, and may not be fully counted in trade balances.

If USA has a problem it might want to look at the tax avoidance of their richest people and companies.

If the world including allies are outrageously ripping off Americans.
How come Americans are so much more outrageously wealthy than those supposed to be stealing from them ?

What China could do now.. is add a 145% export duty to smartphones and laptops to force trumps hand

It's almost like the president
  • is a businessman who bankrupted a casino

  • is too senile to remember his friend's name Steve Apple Steve Jobs

  • whose other billionaire friend stood with him at his inauguration famously said “Move fast and break things. Unless you are breaking stuff, you are not moving fast enough”

  • whose best friend said “Failure is an option here. If things are not failing, you are not innovating enough.”

Didn't Trump just say
"This is not a negotiation”
and
“my policies will never change."

You can't say the voters weren't aware of Trump's history. The USA definitely deserves Trump.

Well worth reading:

CNN - Trump's retribution sends a chilling message to dissenters

12 April 2025

Donald Trump's White House has a threatening message for anyone who might even be perceived to disagree with the president: Don't. Or else.

[headings only:]

  • To the official who said 2020 was a secure election: You're under investigation

  • To the face of first-term 'resistance': You're guilty of treason

  • To law firms that opposed Trump: Pony up

  • To cities that don't want to comply with ICE moves: Federal offices will be closed

  • To universities struggling to balance free speech: Research grants are frozen

  • To lawful immigrants and students who led campus protests: We'll deport you

  • To judges who might rule against the administration: We'll move to impeach you

  • To the DOJ lawyer who admitted a man was deported in error: You're suspended
