When Trump found there was not a spare 1,2, or 3 Trillion dollars to spend on himself. ?

The pertinent question really is the value in services destroyed by DOGE.

For Trump its just where is the money to spend on me, grand military parades, more gold in Maralago and Whitehouse.
Super large tax deductions and refunds, for me etc.
Every press meeting there seems to be more and more gold everywhere.

Its easier to destroy value than build.

In an executive order, Mr. Trump put the power and resources of the federal government to work examining whether some of Mr. Biden’s presidential actions are legally invalid because his aides had enacted those policies without his knowledge.

There is an issue that Joe used an autopen. A stamp or similar. Its been part of the rules there for decades. Its a defection. "I'm losing so lets bang on about the past to defect away from me losing"

Trump has issued an executive order signed a ban on travel to the US from 12 countries.

While he cites national security risks, if you read the executive order it seems to target countries that have over-stayers.

However for many years, since Trump's first term, the Department of Homeland Security has been accused of vastly over-inflating figures. If you compare figures from 2022 to current, it looks like rates are often doubled.

For example Trump accuses Haiti currently of an overstay rate of 31%, where in 2022 it was reported at 12.42%

The Supreme Court allowed Trump to override Biden executive order to extend Protected Status for Haitians to 2026. And now Trump has quickly followed that up with an executive order for a Haitian travel ban.

Haitian immigrants have lower incarceration rates than native-born Americans. Native-born Americans had an incarceration rate 3.5 times higher than that of all Haitian immigrants. Even Haitian immigrants without legal status had an incarceration rate 38% below that of native-born Americans.

There is no significant evidence linking Haitian immigrants to terrorism in the United States. From 1975 to 2022, most terrorist activity in the U.S. was conducted by U.S. citizens
