They do a really tough job - I couldn't do it myself. Saddens that me that there are so many screwed-up, sadistic people out there, who think posting a murder on the likes of Facebook or Twitter is somehow a good thing.

From one loser to another...

Independent UK: Trump calls Musk a ‘hero’ and says he held poll on quitting as Twitter CEO because he wants out

Donald Trump has called Elon Musk a “hero” for promoting allegations against Hunter Biden [e.g. the nude pictures, "dick picks"]

Trump also claims the Twitter CEO wants to quit the social media platform.

The former president said in a new interview that he believes the billionaire deliberately lost a poll on his Twitter future as he no longer wants the job of running his $44bn purchase.

“I think he wants to step down, I think that’s a good way of stepping down, you know just lose in a poll and say ‘I’m out of here’,” Mr Trump told Chanel Rion of far-right cable network One America News.

For once Trump is pretty spot on.

Musk had already made the decision. In fact he'd made it before he even took over. He was always clear that he only ever planned to be an interim CEO until he found a suitable person to fill the role.

Yes, just like he lost an election and said, "I'm out of here".

"Donald Trump has called Elon Musk a “hero” for promoting allegations against Hunter Biden [e.g. the nude pictures, "dick picks"]"

I've tried to follow the Biden Twitter business but I'm confused.

Has Elon revealed any thing more than "dick pics"?

Volodymyr Zelensky is a hero. Trump is a limp dick bottom feeder. Musk is the bottom.

Ah, the age of misinformation, eh.

Musk has released the internal communications at Twitter between staff re banning ‘The Orange One’s’ account. I’m not sure if he has yet released the circumstances around the censoring by Twitter of the New York Post article about Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop in October 2020 (initially called “Russian Disinformation” but subsequently admitted to be true by the likes of The New York Times and The Washington Post). It’s about way more than “nude pictures”, but a simple internet search would confirm that, and what is allegedly on the hard drive.

Musk has nothing to do with Biden Jr’s DPs as far as I know. But hey don’t let accuracy stand in the way of disparagement (not by you, by the way). DJT “promoting” stuff doesn’t carry much weight anymore.

Dingbatt: subsequently admitted to be true by the likes of The New York Times and The Washington Post

This claim has been made before probably in the Trump or Biden topic.

As far as I'm aware neither publication has made that claim.

In summary, both publications have determined at least some of the information provided to them via Giuliani is genuine - but neither publication was able to verify the integrity of the drive. That is, neither could verify if data had not been added or removed. If I recall correctly, I provided quotes from each publication in the topic.

Washington Post: Musk Did It His Way. Regrets? Banks Have a Few.

When Elon Musk stopped fighting and closed his $44 billion takeover of Twitter at the end of October, it was one of the last things his investment bankers wanted to see. The deal left Wall Street with an even bigger burden of unwanted, high-risk loans that banks are mostly carrying into 2023 — another big obstacle in the way of getting deals restarted.

The $13.5 billion worth of debt backing the tech mogul’s adventures in social media added to more than $40 billion of similar loans and bonds that banks already had stuck on their balance sheets after a collapse in investor appetite in 2022. Starting in the summer, the big US and European banks that underwrite the financing for highly leveraged private takeovers began writing down the value of debt they were stuck with, booking more than $2 billion of losses on the debt they had been unable to sell. More losses, including large hits from the Twitter debt, are to come.

As 2023 gets going, keep watching this loan market: It will be one of the clearest indicators for the health and profitability of investment banks.

Electrek: Tesla (TSLA) to implement hiring freeze and new round of layoffs

Tesla (TSLA) has told employees that it is implementing a hiring freeze and confirmed that another wave of layoffs is coming next quarter, according to a source familiar with the matter.

In June, Elon Musk asked Tesla executives to “pause all hiring” and cut 10% of staff.
...
Now Electrek has learned that Tesla is implementing a new hiring freeze and plans further layoffs, according to a reliable source familiar with the matter.
...
The moves come as Tesla’s stock has been falling all year despite the company’s financials hitting new records virtually every quarter.

That’s partly due to a broader market downturn in 2022, but Tesla’s stock has not been tracking with the rest of the market over the last few months.
