Performance by investment banks have a knock-on effect on pensions.

Watching Musk run Twitter over the last couple of months has been like watching a toddler trying to drive a train – “chaotic” doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Could anyone really be this incompetent? Musk’s leadership has been so bizarre that it has even given rise to theories that the billionaire is intentionally trying to sabotage Twitter.

These theories remind me of the early days of Donald Trump’s presidency when some people assumed that the president of the US couldn’t possibly be so inept; there must be some kind of method behind Trump’s madness. Turns out, no. Trump wasn’t playing “four-dimensional chess”; there was no method just madness.

Is Musk going to turn into the same sort of laughing stock that Trump has become? It’s starting to look that way.

A new manager coming in and creating problems to fix is a 'thing'.

Having created disasters to blame on the previous incumbent.
Ideally creating a toxic environment for the staff who know history to move on.
They can then 'somewhat' fix the problems, and they can 'own' the improvement.

Elon Musks inferiority complex about not being the 'Founder' amplifies.
The mirky background of his supposed qualifications also.

He seems to straight out lie/imply that Twitter never did this or that.
In one chatroom he asked the person who was reminding everyone these were
existing features of twitter, before staff culled, to be removed from chat.

If Twitter survives long enough, he will be able to pull this switch,
that every improvement from depths of chaos he created shows 'his brilliance'.
Even to point he can claim to be 'Founder' of something new?

He will want a new CEO who will do all the work in the background and be invisible.

Yep another Mad Narcissist. They will literally kill us all.

No doubt being shunned by Musk and fans would severely dent your ability to schmooze
around starbase, and also wax on lyrical about Mars etc.
Moon mission with SpaceX involvement is coming up soon creating hours of material.

Davis doesn’t operate a Twitter account and has no experience working on social media or dealing with advertisers.

George Orwell would be be proud of this new speak.

It reminds me of company executives telling employees that it's not terminations; it's opportunities.

Forbes: Elon Musk Sells Another $3.6 Billion In Tesla Stock To Prop Up Twitter

Elon Musk sold another $3.6 billion of Tesla stock in December, after selling nearly $3.95 billion in November.

Earlier stock sales were to help with the acquisition of Twitter, but reasons were not disclosed for the latest sale.

Tesla shareholders are becoming increasingly upset with Musk, who has stated multiple times he will stop selling stock, only to sell additional shares.

As of this writing, Tesla stock has lost 60% of its value in 2022. This is due to a combination of factors, including shareholders thinking Twitter is taking up too much of the Tesla CEO's time, fears of a recession in 2023, production pauses at Tesla, and Musk selling close to $22.9 billion in stock.
