I'm listening to 1984 before bed, as an alternative to re-reading it but Trump's version of reality is just as enthralling if not more.

I'm not afraid. Aside from the unfortunate Muslims bogged down at the airport when that hit, all the damage is on Trump, the US, Trump, US Politics, Trump, and Trump.

While he has upset other nations, I expect other nations are less worried now. He is not a powerful, aggressive, experienced man. He is a loud mouth, inexperienced, and bad for himself and bad for the USA.

According to polling, it seems a majority of the US still agrees with POTUS' travel ban as well as a number of other policies including the wall.

No doubt the wailing and gnashing will die down soon enough, as it did post-Brexit.

I don't think so. Brexit was a decision made by the people in a vote, as was Trump. But Trump is a human, Brexit isn't. Trump can live and breathe his ways each week, and its only been 3 so far. Plus we haven't seen his other policies in action yet. Trade for one. On that, beats me how the US is being ripped off in trade, re FTA's. You would think they have the most pull to negotiate a good deal. US involvement in international hotspots is another. Lots to come still.

I heard one of his new policies is to get bathrobes in the WH, change all the lights, and new towels for Air Force One.
