Unfortunately, Trump has managed to get through a few days without any major f-ups. Praise for his new security advisor choice, welcome if belated anti-semitism remarks, a few other things. By his standards all very palatable stuff. If he keeps it up he may actually last the distance. Let us hope not.

Rikkitic: I see riots have now occurred in Sweden. Maybe Trump was just being prophetic

If I was wanting to shift public sentiment in Europe away from liberal values and toward alt:right ideology, then I'd be doing whatever possible to goad refugee/immigrant communities to riot.

Not saying that's what happened there, but I bet others have thought of it - and I expect it will happen.

Depends what you consider a major f-up.

IMO this tweet today is a serious enough indictment on the complete lack of morality and ethics of Trump.
He makes no effort to even pretend to represent all Americans - only Republicans.

The GOP just spent 8 years with Trump as a despicable racist birther-activist.

Any politician in any country blames the opposition, this is not new  really.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

Though it is difficult for me, I try to make a point of reading at least some 'pro-Trump' articles, but I look for these in anti-trump media. No point in just viewing Fox propaganda. CNN and BBC and some newspapers and magazines sometimes try to 'balance' their coverage by looking at issues from the perspective of Trump supporters. It is still hard to know what is actually true, but those who worship Trump seem more devoted than ever and there is little sign of them jumping ship. There may even be more joining. His approval rating is only low if you look at all voters. It is pretty solid with Republicans and no obvious cracks there yet. Those Republicans calling for his impeachment seem to be a tiny minority. I don't know if this is gaining any ground or not. It is hard to tell. I keep seeing contradictory claims.

I didn't see the Obama administration constantly whining and groaning about criticism from the GOP.

There's a big difference.  I did hear it summed up by an American who claimed that the Democrats tend to put a lot of effort into criticising themselves, the GOP tends to always blame Democrats for their own failings.

we really need a POLL for this thread, for/against/and maybe on the fence. let the masses decide. otherwise poor souls like us only read personal attacks

On how many times I get called naive and a fool? Ok

Poll who support Trump is a 0, we all know that here.

A poll on what will happen with the key issues, yes. Or perhaps where we will be in 12 months with the key issues. I have no interest in hearing how he lies, i know he does, I read that here 183 times

Really?

...since every conceivable route leads to the vice-president taking over. So Trump could theoretically be removed, but that would just mean putting Pence in his place.

I suspect that Pence, at least, would tow the party line and essentially just do what the party told him too.

Pence would do what "the lord" told him to do, not the party.

Enjoy waiting

That really makes your point. Readers of this must be recoiling in stunned admiration at the incisiveness of your keen intellect and finely-honed deliberative skills.

Why are you so rude to people? Yet on another forum you complain about people being rude to you.....Pot calling kettle....

It's the left's hypocrisy.

Personally, I'm enjoying the liberal tantrums.

IIRC, a poll decided by the masses is how President Trump got the keys to the Whitehouse...

Yes, the only poll that counts. It's comical that some consider the approval polls 'facts' when in reality they're just as meaningless as the pre-election ones.

I see Trump is going ahead with kicking out the Mexic... er, anyone without proof they are legally entitled to be in the USA. Be interesting to see just how much the enforcement will cost and what unintended consequences it brings (such as many less unskilled people available to do menial jobs that Americans don't wanna do).

Maybe, but that is not getting things done, as in laws, orders, improving stuff, its just rants. The more I see, the more I see rants as the bigly issue, and not getting things done.

In the past, as in pre Trump. how active is Democrats whining about their leader? While there may be internal grumblings, the whining about GOP's leader in full public view is mind boggling

But from good recent posts here, he wont be overthrown, so 4 years is what we get

Which ones and why?

I think you're dreaming - almost all the "tantrums" seem to be coming from conservatives - with the chief cry-baby being Trump.
