GV27:

Handle9: Ok let's play the fact game. National denied there was a housing crisis.

They took no actions that fixed it.

When National wanted to they overruled councils and imposed policy on them.

These facts are demonstrably true.

I have already provided what National did in response to house prices. Feel free to continue to make stuff up but please don't call it 'facts'.

Please tell me what I made up?

John Key did deny there was a housing crisis.

National didn't fix it.

When National wanted to ignore councils (Auckland supercity, Christchurch etc) it did.

I have never disputed they didn't fix it. You're the one saying they did "nothing". That's a very different suggestion and is definitely not interchangeable.

I didn't say they did nothing. I said they took no actions that fixed it. These are not the same thing.

Nothing I wrote is "made up".

Is parliament in recess at the moment? Haven't heard from Simon Bridges for a couple of weeks..

Maybe he's busy crafting a coalition partner to try win the next election??

FWIW, yes it is in a two week recess right now.

Excuse me?!

Against my better judgement I will respond to your obtuse comment.

You come across as a troll. So to hear you call someone else a troll, especially that goofy bmt comment, is very funny.

Sometimes people will laugh at you as a result.

You should accept the title, because the only other explanation for your behaviour over the years is not very complimentary.

What a surprise to see the usual suspects in with the knives and boots despite their supposed "better judgement".

There is no excuse to go against your "better" judgement, especially since it was just to be nasty and to pass barely veiled insults. Unfortunately, there will be others who can't just resist.

Phew! Suppose the hard thing about being in opposition is you're always struggling for attention. And gotta oppose the government on anything and everything even if you agree with it or know its a good idea.

So is Jamie Lee Ross still an MP or not? Is there going to be a by-election?
