if Trump starts his ecological terrorism the rest of the World should impose very tight trade sanctions on the US.

That's assuming "the world" don't already do it. I know some countries are very polar bear friendly, but many are not (that's my impression)

Anyone knows how many executive orders a president normally signs in their term? Is it a normal thing to do?

It varies wildly.

I believe Obama was criticized by Republicans for the number of executive orders he signed.

But for comparison:

Obama signed 19 in his first 100 days. Trump is up to 31 and has been president for 68 days.

I'm not keen on trade sanctions, especially as that's what Trump has suggested when negotiating future bilateral trade deals, that there'll be an "out" clause if the other party "misbehaves". Also, there are isolationist tendencies in the Trump administration - some of them would cheer if they were given reason to retaliate.  Thanks to an abundance of resources, if it comes to trade war, every other country will come off worse than the USA.

Sanctions - if they're intended to influence public opinion - seem to backfire, I doubt for example that the average ordinary person in N Korea, Russia, Iran thinks more fondly of the USA and less fondly of their leaders thanks to sanctions. More likely the reverse, as they've been thoroughly brainwashed by propaganda from dear leaders.

The Merkel encounter still tickles me the most :)

Obviously the 'you owe us money for defending you' is pretty dimwitted but....

Actually telling Angela that the Germans did a better job of negotiating trade between the two, and he wants a fairer deal for all..... US and Germany DO NOT have any trade deals LOL! That is why Angela had that very confused look on her face....

I'm 200% sure there are a million scams going on behind the scenes of the Trump administration.

Even a miniscule percentage of that trough is immensely valuable.

I'm sure they're digging in.
