Biden's team has already indicated they want a female VP. I doubt it will be AOC as she is too radical for them. It will probably be Warren, but it would be nice if they chose someone under 50. I am not familiar with the various governors etc to see if there is a probable contender in there. I had never heard of Tim Kaine before Hillary picked him for instance.

AOC is 30. VP must be >35YO.

You're right. I didn't know that.

That's funny, the life expectancy in the States in the 1770's was about 28 years old, but that was probably due to a high infant mortality.

Sanders endorses Biden. Biden agrees with US$15 minimum wage. Joint policy taskforces from both teams have been formed to explore policies Biden can take on. Sanders appears at three minutes in.

That's a lot of progress and much more than Clinton was ever capable of. Biden starting at 19:00>25:00+ is a highlight.

Thanks. This is a very serious allegation and should not be lightly dismissed. But it is a single allegation, not 'multiple' as you state. The seven other women who have been cited elsewhere have all specifically stated that they are not alleging assault, but rather simply saying that Biden made them feel uncomfortable. This is not the same as claiming multiple assault allegations. The way you phrase it is the way that alt-right sites create fake news. Especially in a case like this, it is very important to stick to facts and avoid embellishments.

It opens the door again to Kavanaugh's appointment (he can be impeached), and then there's Trump on record with video evidence - endorsing the exact behaviour Biden has been accused of.

from my observation from the last 4 years right upto today - universal rules don't apply to Trump. I recall how he got into office despite the worst things - complete with video evidence. does nothing to his ratings. somehow he turns them into votes - the more dirt they put on him the higher his rating gets.

The only reason anybody would want to vote for Biden is that they don't want Trump. What a desperately depressing scenario if you are an American.

OTH for anybody who is not an American (ie all us normal people) it is a vivid demonstration that the the USA has relinquished the role of 'world leader', a post it has so often considered itself to hold.

Primarily because the democratic party and presidential candidate Clinton offered very little policy of interest to many Americans.

This time potentially very different due to the huge support for Sanders. Biden seems to understand the need to meet Sanders' supporters squarely in the middle and genuinely meet the needs of many Americans.
