I just can't get over the comments from Trump supporters saying that Comey's testimony completely vindicates Trump. What planet are they living on?
It tells me a lot about someone when they vote for a person like Trump.
joker97: These people aka (1/4 of all) Americans voted him in on exactly the same basis. What makes you think they've changed?
I know. But even after all the months since the election I still can't get my head around the level of ignorance, gullibility, and sheer stupidity.

You clearly have never spent time in an American mobile home park.

That's true.

Actually, I believe that Trump got the Republican nomination because people wanted change, and to stick one up the Republican hierarchy. He got in as President because the Republicans hated Hillary enough to get out and vote. And because Trump's election-manipulating team was better than Hillary's.
The Trump Documents, released by the Onion on Monday, are the satirical newspaper’s fictional version of the Pentagon Papers.
It’s about 700 pages of fake executive order drafts, emails and classified “documents”.

Some very clever people investing a lot of time and effort into this. Why don't any of them run for president?

Being clever and being a Republican POTUS are mutually exclusive concepts for 1/2 century.
Well worth reading:
Vox.com - James Comey’s testimony shows Hillary Clinton was right all along
One clear message shone through like a flash of lightning from James Comey’s testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee Thursday morning: Hillary Clinton was right about Donald Trump.
His testimony painted a picture of a president who neither understands nor respects the norms and values that underlie the constitutional order, lacks the information necessary to do his job properly, and doesn’t have the humility to seek or accept appropriate advice about how to get better. Comey knew it from his very first meeting with Trump.

Trump: I'm willing to testify under oath about Comey claims
This is excellent news.
Donald is not very good at testifying under oath - he made a hash of it in 2007:
and later:
Donald Trump’s History of Lying Under Oath
Hopefully his inflated ego will cause him to self-destruct.

Under oath means nothing to him. And from what I gather there is no evidence of the conversation. Funny that. His idea to make this conversation private has worked.
There's plenty enough other stuff on Trump for an impeachment process to commence, emoluments in particular.
What's not happening is a shift in polling in the court of public opinion, the Gallup approval poll is a pretty good guide, conducted daily with large enough sample for a +/- 3 point MOE.
It's been sitting on ~40% since March.
While other polling suggests that individual Trump acts of stupidity aren't popular (less popular with Democrats than Republicans - though not necessarily supported by Republicans) - it has no significant impact on Trump's popularity whatsoever. Trump supporters appear to not care what he does or says.
Trump's been in constant campaign mode. The Democrats don't really have a leader - and Trump is always on the front page.
