It is now "Fortress Kyiv", I do not think the russians are going to take the city anymore, they will take so much losses doing it, there is too much western weapons waiting for them in there. I think they going to Nerve Gas the city and level it with artillery and bombs to force surrender via terror.

It also depends on whether they've studied de Bello Gallico or not, they've got the Siege of Putingrad on the inside but also a massive hostile countryside all around them and behind them. Caesar spent at least as much time and effort fortifying his back as he did attacking inwards. They're going to have a hell of a time keeping the siege going when their supply lines keep getting hit everywhere.
Maybe if you can afford Nukes or over x% of your GDP on military then you should not keep most favoured trading status.

Seven leading industrialized nations would move to revoke Russia’s “most favored nation” trade status, according to a source familiar with the matter who spoke on the condition of anonymity to preview the announcement. The loss of the trade status would allow tariffs to be imposed on Russian imports and increase the isolation of the Russian economy.

False flag
Chemical weapons
Killing women and children
and so on, all part of Russia historical playbook
Firstly I am strictly against the Russian invasion of Ukraine but lets not forget
The US/UK claimed Saddam Hussein had chemical and other WMD where that was false
The estimates of civilian deaths resulting from the last US lead invasion of Iraq range from 250K-500K +/- (60-90% violent)
neb: That... sounds a bit like urban-legend material. A small, vulnerable, short-range battery-powered drone being used by Russian troops to peek into someone's apartment? I'd say more likely one being used by Ukrainians to get video footage of damage.

And I was dead against the Iraq invasion, and Afghanistan too. And we should be doing something about the Saudis - who were responsible for 9/11 as well as their atrocities in Yemen - and the Chinese as well. But we all know that we won't, so let's at least notch up one win if we can on this one. :-(

Consider it a lesson learned. The US/UK won't be going after Russia in a war.
Its a pity someone else cannot learn a lesson.
I find it really weird that wars that have nothing to do with the US and a clear hostile aggressor must always be couched against the caveat that the US has done bad stuff and apparently that's always relevant. At least, apparently to some people.
The fact the US have been dicks doesn't make what Russia is doing any less dick-ish, nor does it justify it or whatever. It actually doesn't matter at all.
Some ridiculous comments on my local Facebook page, people blaming our PM for price rises of petrol - like she personally started the war to jack up the price of petrol. Um, okay.

There's even a specific term for this, whataboutism. It was a favourite Soviet tactic throughout the life of the Soviet Union, so much so that it was turned into a political joke in Russia, "А у вас негров линчуют", "But in your country they lynch negroes".

It's just complaining about the state of the world in general, which makes the government the obvious lightning rod. Someone recently forwarded some poll result or other that showed National slightly ahead and I pointed out that it isn't a sudden swing to National, it's just people using the government as a lightning rod for dissatisfaction. You could run a box of one dozen starving, crazed weasels against the government and people would protest-vote for them.
(Eventually a little ditty would start going through their head, it goes a little something like "Doh!, Get 'em off me!, Get 'em off me!, No, get 'em off, get 'em off!", but that doesn't come till later).
