I hate that "Leader of the Free World" crap. If there needs to be one there a many more suitable candidates for that title.

for example?

Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Canada, New Zealand..... to name a few

Germany perhaps is the only one there that perhaps has the resources to be...

PM of Aussie now congratulating Trump and standing behind him in full support...amazing..

It doesn't require a lot of resources to lead, it only needs a lot to bully.

One day he says the hurricane in Texas was the biggest ever and his team is doing a great work. When asked if these giant storms had changed his views on Climate Change Trump replies saying "We've had biggers storms than that." (video)

If what Trump said at the UN today reflects his real thoughts about Nth Korea we have a lot to be worried about.    Prior to WW1 many people thought war would be impossible because all the Royal families were closely related & that would keep the peace.

He wont do anything its all talk, but its breaking down other talks. UN needs to remove US from talks, that will make everyone else happy, and have soem posisbility of being productive. Will also push forward any possibility of him being removed form POTUS

And unfortunately for the rest of the world, when Trump "talks tough", then his approval rating within the US seems to rise.

President Rouhani from Iran at UN:

“I declare before you that the Islamic Republic of Iran will not be the first country to violate the agreement, but it will respond decisively and resolutely to its violation by any parter,” he pledged.

Turning to Trump, he said, “It would be a great pity if this agreement were to be destroyed by rogue newcomers to the world of politics… The world will have lost a great opportunity.”

The wild card here is South Korea.

They will do pretty much whatever it takes to protect Seoul and South Korea. They will not support an attack on NK. Because they have too much to lose. And the USA have crappy military options if they cannot use SK as a base.
