Nothing unique about that. Biden actually compared himself to Lincoln and Roosevelt in one recent speech.

And who can forget about that line: "If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black".

Trump black voter share had actually been increasing.

This was before Harris became the presumptive candidate ... so it will be interesting to see how much it changes in her favour after she is confirmed.

You mean the speech at Gettysburg where he referenced Lincoln's attempt to repair a house divided? In what way is that like Trump claiming he's as great as or better than Lincoln?

Yeh, this isn't the first time hes compared himself to Lincoln lol, the crowd, mostly journalists, youtubers etc, kinda just went silent with, did he really just say that.

What he needs to be doing is protecting those Nicky Haley protest votes, which I think is about 15%, I believe that lines up with the Republicans against Trump voters, who were wanting to vote for Biden until his debate when they became disillusioned, now you have a smart young candidate with a lot more experience than she is given credit for, I think these moderate republicans are flipping along with the never Trumpers. Trump said he didnt need Haleys voters, but I think they could end up the difference.

He has no policies outside Proj25. but he cant sell them, just hate and rants. Harris is prosecuting his lies re Border and appealing to knowing its financially tough, but she is also explaining what SHE will do about it as president. 2016 Trump got lucky with a lot of dodgy BS, I dont think thats gonna fly this time.

Michael Moore is happier. But Harris is already above the error margin winning the state. Possibly the snub of Israel helped what he thinks are muslim folk going to vote for Trump, but I think they will flip come time to vote, if things keep heading in this direction.

Im wondering what the impact of influencers will be. especially Musk. He needs a reality check.

Oh yes this advert is perfect, it calls out Trump on all the blocking of border bills and other issues etc. Keep in mind Tim Miller and Bulwark are kind of the head of Republicans against Trump and they are firmly promoting democrat Harris, including spending big money on billboards and their own ads. See, bi-partisan can work, to take Trump down haha

How do you get "equal" from that quote?

Sorry don't seem to work with two youtube clips in one posts, it deletes them..... Just wanted to show Tim Mller calling out Trumps lies re the prisoner swap. They get good views and every person who pukes up Trump cool aide is a vote for democracy. So to have Republicans doing this for the good of the nation is something to be proud of for US citizens. The bit about Trump maybe a Rus asset etc I laughed at, but seriously I wonder how many of the far right are given some supposed ties, ie Johnson, MTG etc. Not saying they are, who knows, but wouldn't be surprised.

Id love to see more young moderate Republicans in congress or senate like Tim Miller and Adam Kizinger. They are the other side of the same coin to young moderate democrats like Jasmine Crockett (huge fan of hers) from Texas.

Trump is an ignorant dementing imbecile who says whatever drifts through his stream of consciousness. Elsewhere he craps out versions of that statement that imply he may have done even more for blacks than Lincoln. You can cherry-pick any stupid utterance you like, but that doesn't make it so.

Here is one: "I've done more than any president in the history of our country, except for maybe Abe — and I say maybe — maybe Abraham Lincoln."

Maybe "equal" was the wrong word, but he definitely shouldn't be comparing himself to Lincoln. Lincoln sought to bring people together; Trump only cares about himself, his family and friends and his base - probably in that order, too. Everyone else? Don't care.

This is another line of play Harris could attack Trump. There is plenty of pscyc Dr's etc who have been saying he is showing signs of Dementia, not natural cognitive decline like Biden, but actual dementia, which supposedly runs in his family.

There are multiple videos on Youtube of not just gaffe after gaffe, but moments where he just stops talking, or he forgets what he was saying or makes up words phonetically similar to the word he has lost in his head etc.

If they attacked Biden for age, Trump is more than fair game, do they really want somebody as President with dementia?

anyway, on a positive, brilliant work by Biden, Harris and Sholz. More embarrassment for Trump, only Trump could do this he thought. Puts showed him who is the boss, while Chi is showing with no work on the gas pipeline until they get same rates as Rus citizens, which is a loss leader of mega amounts.

Trump has said so many things about and in relation to how much better he is than various historical figures its hard to keep track.

We do have this series of quotes from a few years back.

the border is a scam. Texas controls the border and they keep the guards away from the border and film migrants freely walking in to make the Dems look bad.
