Author uses the word "left" nine times in that short article - As Musk lifts humanity, the left brands him ‘Public Enemy No. 2’.

I clicked through to a different article by the same author and counted to eleven including "far-left multibillionaires".

Um.. yeah I can't think of any either..

More here about the guy:

And at best, he tacitly approves of Russia's invasion of Ukraine:

"Create a society that values material things above all else. Strip it of industry. Raise taxes for the poor and reduce them for the rich and for corporations. Prop up failed financial institutions with public money. Ask for more tax, while vastly reducing public services. Put adverts everywhere, regardless of people's ability to afford the things they advertise. Allow the cost of food and housing to eclipse people's ability to pay for them. So the guy did a "Tucker Carlson", and got canned from a right-of-center Florida newspaper.

He just wrote "The ‘scared majority’ could deliver a landslide victory for Trump" for the same newspaper.

Probably the most left-wing billionaire is Mark Cuban - and he's still a capitalist, just one with socialist tendencies as well who recognises that part of how billionaires accumulate their wealth is through a society that is educated enough to perform work for them and able to afford to buy from them (he famously said "the most patriotic thing a wealthy person could do is pay their motherf***ing taxes", and founded a pharmacy that sells generic pharmaceuticals to Americans at their manufacturing cost plus 15% margin to keep it sustainable - see "Cost Plus Drugs").

Aw, poor Elon. He's not quite as popular as he thought he was, nor does everyone love him...like he thinks they do 😀

Tesla’s value drops $60bn after investors fail to hail self-driving ‘Cybercab’: tthe Guardian

Analysts criticise lack of detail about the ‘robotaxi’ showcased by CEO Elon Musk

Tesla shares fell nearly 9% on Friday, wiping about $60bn (£45bn) from the company’s value, after the long-awaited unveiling of its so-called robotaxi failed to excite investors.

Shares in the electric carmaker tumbled to $217 at market close following an event in Hollywood, where the chief executive, Elon Musk, revealed a much-hyped driverless vehicle. The stock price is down roughly 12% year-to-date.

Musk said the company would start building the fully autonomous “Cybercab” by 2026 at a price of less than $30,000, and showed off a van he claimed was capable of transporting 20 people around town autonomously – which he said would reshape cities by turning car parks into parks.

Before the event, he tweeted: “And all transport will be fully autonomous within 50 years.”

During the showcase, he wrote that car parks would no longer be needed in cities.

However, analysts said the event was short on detail and also expressed disappointment over a lack of specifics about other Tesla projects. Musk has a history of making grand projections about upcoming products and failing to follow through in the timeframe he has set, or at all.

The picture I saw of the "bus" looked more like a mobil crematorium, no windows (so no escape routes), so if the batteries go up in flames....
The lack of windows almost guarantees the things will smell of vomit.

Musk yet again selling stupid to the stupid.

Elon Musk’s Beer-Pouring Optimus Robots Are Not Autonomous: Gizmodo

Elon Musk has done it again. And by “it,” we mean tricked a lot of people with “autonomous” robots that are actually being helped by unseen human operators. And this isn’t the first time Musk has done this.

On Thursday night, Tesla threw a highly anticipated media event at Warner Bros. studios near Los Angeles and unveiled a prototype robotaxi that Musk calls the Cybercab. Consumers will have to wait on that one since Musk says it’s still 2-3 years away, just as it has been for the past decade.
