neb: Ukrposhta's online shop, which was accessible two days ago, seems to have gone AWOL. Looks like demand for That Stamp has overwhelmed them :-).

Or it got hit with a bomb or shell.

So hard to read all this stuff.

The main web site is still online, it's only the stamp store that's gone, so I'm hoping it's just due to lots of demand.

$1Bilion dollars a day pays for lots of mercenaries.
Though there is talk Russian soldiers are not getting their pay on time and service bonuses.
So by the time everyone in-between has skimmed their cut maybe none left to go around.

Apparently Russia has been pressing 55-60 year olds into service in Donbass, and maybe also going after under 18s

What I did not know is that large quantities of LPG can be shipped, so Europe is not entirely reliant on pipe lines. The article the image below comes from says that more, and larger, such ships are being ordered, so if there is capacity elsewhere, Russia will eventually lose one of it's biggest earning streams.

The information we are seeing about Russia is quite extraordinary. Of course we have become total sceptics when it comes to information nowadays, so we are have to be careful about our sources. I love Peter Ziehan's GeoPop channel, but welcome opinions on other sources we could consider trustworthy?

The information we are seeing about Russia is quite extraordinary. Of course we have become total sceptics when it comes to information nowadays, so we are have to be careful about our sources. I love Peter Ziehan's GeoPop channel, but welcome opinions on other sources we could consider trustworthy?

I have a feeling somebody will buy it. IIRC about 1/3 of the UN voted in support of Russia and about 1/4 abstained from voting against Russia.

India is stockpiling for one, and no doubt China would have been getting cheap oil too.

My post was Europe and oil and gas from anywhere else. Ukraine is in Europe. Who cares what India and China do, thats another chapter

Apropos of nothing, but the number of deaths in Putin's war is currently about the same as the number of gun deaths in the US. One is an active war zone, one isn't.

More Kamikaze / suicidal 600 drones.

The US is supplying 100 of new larger Switchblade 600, as a test.

The smaller 300 will take out a truck.

The larger 600 is for armored vehicles. It's supposed to be equivalent to a FIM-92 Stinger (MANPADS)

it's cheaper at less than NZD $10,000, about 1/4 the cost of a stinger
lighter at 23 KG than 43 KG
can loiter for 40 minutes
longer range at 40 KM versus 6 KM.

Bad news for the Russian. In the long-term it's bad news for the US, because if the US can make it, so can other countries.

And one fifteenth the cost of Russia's duct tape special, the Orlan-10. Which also doesn't have any offensive capability.
