Destiny Church and Brian Tamaki...again

https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2024/05/brian-tamaki-s-destiny-church-notice-with-time-to-kill-tagline-extremely-concerning.html

His church is a hate group wrapped in a religious safety blanket.

He is after money, after physical/political power. He is potentially far more dangerous than the gangs in NZ

I cant recall seeing a shorter bible quote than that:

In a video of the New Plymouth event Tamaki preaches against transgender and rainbow community rights; puberty blockers; Palestine; and the environmental movement.

What a birthday party that must have been! Bet Rudy won't be forgetting that one in a hurry. So much winning...

Seriously, I don't know why he keeps doubling down with the election fraud bs. It's not exactly like Trump is racing to his side to defend him, and he just keeps digging himself into a bigger financial hole. Where's the logic?

Rudy when he was mayor of New York being tough on crime.

"Obviously murder and graffiti are two vastly different crimes. But they are part of the same continuum, and a climate that tolerates one is more likely to tolerate the other."

Fast forward to loser Rudy on his failed attempt to evade being served:

"If Arizona authorities can't find me by tomorrow morning:
1. They must dismiss the indictment;
2. They must concede they can't count votes,"

Giuliani's reputation of fighting corruption, may not be what it seems.

He may have got Police behind him because he was fighting against investigations of Police missconduct and corruption.
With Police on his side he became law and order champion.

White Riot In 1992, thousands of furious, drunken cops descended on City Hall — and changed New York history.

""
“The mayor doesn’t know why the morale of the police department is so low,” Giuliani said. “He blames it on me. He blames it on you. Bullshit!” Giuliani then attacked an anti-corruption commission impaneled by Dinkins, which he said was created “to protect David Dinkins’s political ass.” More cheers rose from the crowd.

Raw Story: 'Rudy.crazy': Giuliani shills coffee amid bankruptcy woes — and is immediately mocked

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani is launching a new campaign in his contentious bankruptcy battle, spurred by a $148 million defamation ruling against him, in an unexpected place: the coffee aisle.

Giuliani and his girlfriend Dr. Maria Ryan Tuesday night launched a new website shilling bagged Rudy Coffee with names like "Fighting for Justice," "America's Mayor" and "Enjoying Life," which is decaffeinated.
...
This announcement arrives amid a tumultuous time for Giuliani's finances.

Days after admitting in a court filing that his accountant had dropped him and his lone sources of income were Social Security payments and his radio show, WABC canceled the show for spreading misinformation about election fraud.

Hilarious - but grifters gonna grift. And Rudy definitely needs to grift, Christ alone knows he has next-to-no income now, and steadily mounting legal bills to pay.

Also I found this link quite humourous (off the same page): https://www.rawstory.com/raw-investigates/donald-trump-campaign-awards-3667710983-2667710983/

Basically a list of Trump-related crap you can buy that has no value whatsoever. Now he knows how to grift!

Brian Tamaki and charter schools, maybe he wants taxpayers to pay for a farm.
Glorivale, Scientoligists, they will all be seeing if there is an angle for them.

ACT has also opened the door to operators/owners not just taking a director or management fee but profits as well. Lovely.

Still cracks me up that the clown spent an absolute fortune on billboards at the last election, to get all of 9,000 votes 😄

More kill comments from Tamaki. Sadly this kind of talk usually has nasty consequences for someone other than the speaker:

The Post: Wellington mayor Tory Whanau is getting security advice after video emerged of controversial pastor Brian Tamaki specifically naming her in a wide-ranging speech that covered mentions of beheading, rainbow crossings, and the term ‘kill ‘em“.

The event Tamaki was travelling to:

RadioNZ: The conference was organised by Inflection Point NZ to stop what it calls "gender indoctrination and medicalisation" of children. Speakers at the 'Unsilenced Summit' include Destiny Church leader Brian Tamaki, former National Party MP Simon O'Connor and British activist Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull (also known as Posie Parker, appearing via videolink). A conference organiser told RNZ that 360 people were attending the event.

A larger number over 500 people protested outside.

Te Papa refused to cancel Tamaki's even in Wellington. It's all good, but things will change when someone gets hurt. Painting rainbow crossing may be protected speech, but if someone gets hurt, then we will see the real beast (pun intended).

But the way I see it, using half of a biblical quote ("Time to kill") instead of the full quote ("Time to kill, time to heal") shows that he's not using good faith (pun intended).

In reality, it's been proven before that you can't discuss with extremists because they don't follow the same rules as normal society does.

Has any of these deplorable even given real evidence of this "gender indoctrination and medicalisation" claim?

Today I saw an article on NZ Herald about people posting letters with MoE heading talking about things that definitely are not happening in schools.

Lies, lies and lies These people are liars because there's profit in it.

Yay! Liz Gunn was found guilty! However, I can see this verdict turning her into a martyr amongst her supporters. Fortunately they're a minority of the population. And I bet she's not laughing anymore - but I am! 😀

Mind you, I guess she can decide which of her one injured arms the sling can go on now as opposed to a random arm, right?

Gunn will appear for sentencing later this year - does this sort of thing usually result in prison time? Maybe she won't be such an arrogant loudmouth now.
