More of "the best people", right? 🙄
https://edition.cnn.com/2024/05/23/politics/ted-cruz-2024-election-cnntv/index.html
Wow, the deplorables are getting in early this time! The election hasn't even started yet and already they're alleging fraud.
This reply from Ted Cruz was ridiculous:
“So my question for you again, free and fair election, will you accept the results regardless of who wins?” Collins asked.
“If the Democrats win, I will accept the result, but I’m not going to ignore fraud regardless of what happens,” Cruz responded.
Translation: "it's only a "fair election" if I win, otherwise it's all fraudulent".
The orange buffoon has really started a movement of election deniers, I must say. Pity they've got no morals or ethics whatsoever 🙄
Amazes me how this image has stood the test of time:

flew a flag upside down—signaling either that the country is in danger or that the election was stolen—in the days after the Jan 6 attack on the capitol. This week, the New York Times further reports that Alito was flying an “Appeal to Heaven” flag at his New Jersey beach house this past summer. That flag is not merely another January 6 signifier but also rooted in John Locke’s “appeal to heaven,” meaning “a responsibility to rebel, even use violence, to overthrow unjust rule.” In some ways, this is another very ridiculous, very 2024 story
Also just saw this - maybe Rudy's finally learned that he needs to keep his lying mouth closed, otherwise it (literally) costs him?

The NY Times - Elon Musk Ramps Up Anti-Biden Posts on X
24 May 2024
The billionaire owner of X has increasingly been using his social media platform to criticize President Biden for his health and immigration policies, according to a New York Times analysis.
Last month, Elon Musk posted on X that President Biden “obviously barely knows what’s going on.” ... “He is just a tragic front for a far left political machine.”
Mr. Musk has steadily ramped up his criticism of Mr. Biden as the campaign season heats up before the November presidential election. He has posted about Mr. Biden on X at least seven times a month since January, attacking the president for everything from his age to his policies on immigration and health. ...
In contrast, Mr. Musk had posted more than 20 times on X this year about former President Donald J. Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee. In those posts, Mr. Musk defended Mr. Trump, arguing that he is a victim of media and prosecutorial bias in the criminal cases that the former president faces.

Stories like this kinda rubbish Tamaki's line of "it's trans men wearing dresses who are abusing children" (which apparently he regularly trots out at his sermons).

Girls are more likely than boys to be sexually abused by a wide margin, ie Heterosexual MEN are more likely the abuser, not gay/trans
Victims almost always know their abuser, stranger danger is the least of the problems.
The abuser is most likely a family member, friends of the family, neighbours, or people with authority over the victim, church leaders, teachers, sports coaches, etc.
Because of the knowing the abuser, the abuse often goes unreported, or is quietly dealt with, there are no scary headlines in news papers , unlike "stranger danger"
Cult/Churches have a historic record of victim blaming..."she was posted by a demon to tempt me" and the abuser is then protected by the church.
Cults almost invariably have sexual abuse happening because of the level of control they have over peoples lives.
If "god" can not keep sexual abusers out of the church , that "god" is worthless.

Still not drag queens. And still a "faith person".

The mother said she quit Destiny Church several years ago after becoming disillusioned with the culture and cult-like following. “It seemed all hype and emotion. I just felt like the allegiance was to the leaders and the leader instead of God.” In her opinion, she felt disciples were being indoctrinated and losing the ability to think independently, while younger members were isolated from family and taught to “love Brian”.
While the man is no longer associated with Destiny, the mother understands he has now joined another South Auckland church where he is allegedly involved in another youth group.
As usual, Tamaki goes for deflection and blames the media for his issues 🙄

Straight from Trump's book: "“I had nothing to do with this alleged offender, I don’t even know him, and neither do I know everyone who attends our church,” Tamaki wrote."

The definition of a deplorable traitor: Once a Sheriff’s Deputy in Florida, Now a Source of Disinformation From Russia
A dozen years ago, John Mark Dougan, a former deputy sheriff in Palm Beach County, Fla., sent voters an email posing as a county commissioner, urging them to oppose the re-election of the county’s sheriff.
He later masqueraded online as a Russian tech worker with a pseudonym, BadVolf, to leak confidential information in violation of state law, fooling officials in Florida who thought they were dealing with a foreigner.
He also posed as a fictional New York City heiress he called Jessica, tricking an adviser to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office into divulging improper conduct by the department.
“And boy, did he ever spill ALL of the beans,” Mr. Dougan said in a written response to questions for this article, in which he confirmed his role in these episodes.
Those subterfuges in the United States, it turned out, were only a prelude to a more prominent and potentially more ominous campaign of deception he has been conducting from Russia.
Mr. Dougan, 51, who received political asylum in Moscow, is now a key player in Russia’s disinformation operations against the West. Back in 2016, when the Kremlin interfered in the American presidential election, an army of computer trolls toiled for hours in an office building in St. Petersburg to try to fool Americans online.
