When I say there are fascists in the American government some people say "No, you don't know". And then there is this republican senator quoting Mussolini:

Substitute the word "President" for "moron", "imbecile" or "narcissist" and it would be 100x more accurate. The guy isn't a leader of anybody but a group functioning at a lower level than amoebae.

Dumb as a door. Contradicted by his chief China negotiator.
Trump's woeful ignorance is no longer a surprise.
What i found refreshing was the willingness of his senior official to contradict him in public.

Reports have been emerging of a lady suing Trump for stealing a kiss at a campaign rally. Sexual assault should not be trivialised, especially when someone like Trump is involved, but I have doubts about this particular case and I am afraid it may just serve as an unwanted distraction. Anyway, judge for yourself.

Partisans on both sides unleashed sharp new rhetoric ahead of Tuesday’s vote on a Democratic-authored resolution that would nullify President Trump’s declaration of a national emergency at the U.S.-Mexico border.

The resolution is expected to pass the House easily with unified Democratic support.
But GOP leaders were urging their members to oppose it, aiming to keep the final tally low enough to demonstrate that Congress would be unable to overturn the veto that Trump has threatened. ...
