This could easily escalate out of control and Trump with his usual lack of understanding and finesse could easily make a complete hash of it. Maybe it is time to set the Doomsday clock forward another minute.

Pretty intense exchanges going on at the moment regarding 'racist' comments by one congresswoman. Nothing to do with Cohen or Trump.

To be fair this is the Trump thread so it is discussing issues directly involving him. The India/Pakistan conflict is bad and has potential to escalate. But it is for now outside the realm of this thread. At least until a Trump tweet fires both sides up.

If you don't think this also involves Trump you are mistaken. In the meantime, an explosive conclusion by Cummings to the hearing.

I just whipped past several news sites. The Cohen hearing has pushed everything else off the main page. The Indian/Pakistan conflict comes second. Even Fox has shoved Trump's lovefest with Kim to the background. This must really piss Trump off. His trip is barely getting a mention. It is been completely overshadowed by Cohen. I think he deserves a sentence reduction just for this, if nothing else.

I love this, all the Republicans could do was attack the man. So pathetic.
