Trump crowned? No faux King way!
Trump announced his plans to sign an executive order requiring colleges to “support free speech.”
He says universities are blocking the rights of conservatives (and alt-right) "activists". He says if these institutions want government money they have to let these people talk.
There you go. Claiming freedom of speech is how fascists push their ideas.
The Paradox of Intolerance is real people.

Patrolman inspecting the new budget-sized Border Wall...

Trump crowned? No faux King way!
Good $deity, what a liar - in your face, no shame at all.
What he thinks of his "friends":
How you control forest fires? Clean the leaves!
Ronery... So ronery!
The hard left has dangerous ideas! He believes in free speech - but only for his supporters, obviously.
What next? Satanic cults?
And of course he now claims his request for Russia to "find" Clinton's emails was a joke - but watch both versions:

The Washington Post - House Judiciary chairman says he will launch probe of Trump’s ‘abuse of power’
March 3 at 10:38 AM
The chairman of the House Judiciary Committee said Sunday that he plans to request documents from more than 60 people and organizations connected to President Trump as part of an inquiry that could eventually lead to his impeachment.
Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) said on ABC News’s “This Week” that the targets include the president’s son Donald Trump Jr.; Allen Weisselberg, the chief financial officer of the Trump Organization; and the Justice Department.
The materials, the congressman said, would be used “to begin investigations to present the case to the American people about obstruction of justice, corruption and abuse of power.”
“Impeachment is a long way down the road. We don’t have the facts yet. But we’re going to initiate proper investigations,” he said. ...

Trump is the symptom, not the disease.

According to a WP survey, only one-third of Republicans would support Trump's removal if it was proven he had obstructed justice. The good news is that two-thirds of all voters would support it but this also means that two-thirds of Republicans would not. In other words, the majority of Republicans would not care that Trump broke the law! Obstruction of justice is not a traffic violation. It is a major felony. People go to prison for that. But Republicans think it is no big deal if Trump does it.
America is a country obsessed with religion, in spite of the official separation of church and state. But it is a special kind of religion. It is the kind that shouts to the skies and goes on TV and begs for money to build huge edifices for the glory of god. It is the kind that turns to self-proclaimed pastors and healers for vindication. It is the kind of loud-mouthed self-obsessed holier than thou hypocritical self-righteous temple parasite exclusive religion that Jesus condemned and attacked. It is the kind that says you should celebrate wealth and leave the poor and sick to their fate because health and wealth are obvious signs that the healthy and wealthy have been singled out by god for special favours.
There is something seriously wrong with the American soul. Because America is a country obsessed with religion, public displays of the kind of religion it is obsessed with are necessary to get elected to political office. Unlike Australia, and maybe us, no avowed atheist could ever become President there. Hypocrisy is fine, but you need at least to go through the motions and attend church and pretend to sort of believe in some kind of (judeo-christian) god.
Because religion and politics have been inextricably mixed together, and the kind of religion celebrated in America is inherently conservative, many current Republicans (as opposed to traditional conservatives) have a messianic belief in their cause, which is a takeover of the country by religion-spouting conservative types. They are on a mission from god, and that gives them special entitlement to employ any dirty tricks or dishonest techniques to achieve their goal. It is a religious crusade and the end justifies the means. That is why they do not object to a law-breaking President, or turn a blind eye to his moral shortcomings, or are happy to resort to gerrymandering and other political illegalities to gain the upper hand. They are crusaders and as long as Trump supports their ultimate goal, they will support him regardless of his high crimes and misdemeanours. It is the will of god, after all.

Trump doesn't make sense even if you take that into account. Trump is the literal opposite of everything Jesus stood for. He's a liar, a cheat, a serial adulterer, very likely a sexual assaulter, a braggart, thin-skinned, impatient, vainglorious, self-serving, unashamed hypocrite.

He does make sense because contemporary Republicans are a$$holes who are on a crusade. They don't care who gets raped or pillaged in the process because they are serving a higher good. Trump is just a means to an end.

I think I get what you mean. They worship God, Trump is their saviour, so Trump is their God 2IC? So if bad things happen, its God's will, there is a reason, so that explains away Trumps antics.
